It seems you doubt that I knew or did not know about whatever this guy does for ranking (I am guessing rankings just by what you say now)

I do not give a rat's ass about SL rankings, or search, or how people get themselves into search, search is too easy to game. I do not bother to open threads pertaining to those subjects and yes I only read a few things on the forums, strangely this thread is one of them.

And you are correct, even if I were aware he gamed the search, I woudl still buy the item if it is an item I wanted, because I do not care about search or what ppl do with it. Does that make sense?
Just because you find it unethical doesn't mean someone else will. It is your choice to not shop at my store, or anyone elses's for that matter, however I did not and do not look kindly upon how you worded it.

You will not make me feel as though I did wrong, I shop wherever I want, and if you want to alienate yourself from other places, just because the owner might shop at a place you dislike (or hate) then that is your choice.

All I ask is next time do not make it seem like a personal attack, all you had to do was say, Rha, I just want you to know, that I do not agree with so and so's business ethics and because you shopped there, I feel to support my own belief I have to also not shop at your store, it is nothing personal, I just have to do what feels right to me.

Actually I said I was disappointed in your choice of where to shop, not in you. There is a difference. However I can certainly see how it might be taken personally though I promise you it could have been anyone in your position getting that from me so that is what I mean when I say it is not personal.

I don't like what the owner is *doing* it has nothing to do with whether I like him or not. It is possible to actually like or love someone and not like what they do.

Trout, I really don't have any animosity towards Rhaorth at all and I completely understand that she is upset with what I said. I probably would feel the same. What I am attempting to do is show her that I did not set out with the intention of causing her harm but felt principle bound to make a statement about a choice anyone could have easily made. I would rather it have been someone thoroughly dislikable on the receiving end and it is unfortunate it is Rhaorth because she is a nice person.
I fail to see what else will help though.

I completely understand. I also believe that Rha has nothing against you and was just making her point as well.

All I'm saying is at this point, it's good to take a break and stop trying to make your points to each other. Neither of you is getting anywhere and when you don't move, you overheat.

I'm willing to bet that if you both stand down, without giving up anything, that you will just be willing to let the matter drop in a couple days. That's all I'm saying - not taking sides, not advocating for one position or the other. Just looking for a quick and easy solution where nobody has to give up any ground or feel like they weren't heard or anything like that.
