You really have to avoid those dark alley shortcuts, Brenda.

I have tried to tell you that your shoe obsession would get you into trouble some day.

Wow, looks like everyone but Maureen and Brenda slept in today.

I'm not a coffee drinker but the cocoa looks good, it is cold here today. Well, cold by Houston standards. The local paper (which never gets anything right) is predicting freezing and possible snow for the end of the week.
Based on past history we are not due to see snow for at least another 3 or 4 years so I'll believe that when I see it.

Teal (or what ever that is) is a good color for you Brenda. Nice view of the sunrise as well.

Also, how bout dem Saints!!!! I'm hoping we get an NFL team here in Houston soon.
/me sticks his tongue out at the Texans. :p

SNOW!!! /me wants some. /me wants a LOT!!!

Dogs had me up at 5:30 but I went back to sleep. The I woke around 7:15 or so when hubby left for work, but the rolled over and snoozed some more. Finally crawled out of bed about 7:45.
:D

Kaimi - your pic is absolutely beautiful.

I'll take the hot cocoa and the coffee. It is 47F outside now, but that is the high for the day, with snow in the forecast a few times over the next couple of days. Yikes, with highs around 20F and lows near zero, I am doubly glad I'm popping off to see my mom for a week.

.

I hope you have a great visit with your mom - oh, that's right...she knows about SL, too!! Will you be on vaycay from SL while at your mom's?

That is an extremely disgusting thought.

I know. It's horrifying, really. But I've found that it works best for me to get up, go to the gym...and lol, get it over with. Then I don't have to worry about it after work. :)

No way - she likes to play around in SL pretty much every day also. Though I likely won't be inworld quite as much as I have been.

I suppose that might work IF I didn't already have to get up at 4:45 to be at the office at 6:00. There is no way I would get up early just to workout and get it over with. Though, going in that early gets me out early and so I often stop at the gym on the way home and it is early enough to not be very crowded yet.

Oh, I agree. There's no way I'd be able to do the before work thing if I had to be at my desk at 6 am (and the gym's not open that early, anyway)...I think it's great that you are off work while the sun's still out. :)

Sweater: "Warm Me Up" pullover, Miss Yoko (Yoko Xiao). Jacket layer, fatpack of 8 colors, 59L. It looks great on guys too.

Shoes: Worker Boots by ExwiZit (Mickie Ambassador), but according to his profile, he has closed shop. :( I hope my inventory never eats these boots as they are my fave pair.

Only barely, in the middle of winter.

A few years ago I was getting up at 3:00 am on weekends to work out at the gym 3 hours before it got crowded. Other days I just went to work early so I could beat the afternoon rush at the gym - yes I was being a bit compulsive. Since I retired I can't really justify the expense of the membership so I just run around my neighborhood and do a few calisthenics. And since I let go of that compulsion I haven't even been doing that regularly for almost a year now.

You do look cozy. As cute and as snug as a bug in a rug. (A sexy, beautiful, and stylish bug.)

I think I started the sweater season off already.

Pep (or maybe it was Laurin's fault.)

PS Nice photo - I'm envious of whoever you are looking at!
