I guess we should call off the dancing stripper dude and flowers and candy that we were gonna use to lure her back early. Good thing she came on her own. That saved us some pretty serious cash!

Aww you guys are so nice *hugs*

Woot! I just realised I passed 800 - how the heck did I post that many?

Anyway to celebrate, here is my latest poem, the ink is still very wet having been finished not 5 mins ago. Usually I keep em hidden for months before showing them and have never posted it cold to the internet before *hand trembles slightly*.

Eternal Slumber

Full moon over the misty graveyard,
Pale light in the darkest night,
Crooked trees whispering softly,
Dampening chill hangs in the air,
Shadows brood here and there.

No crunching footfalls on the path,
Nor sorrowful tears of yesteryear,
The smell of fresh earth is long gone,
Flowers lay withered upon the stones,
Holds no purpose now, just the bones.

Moss decorates the crumbling stones,
Faded words once sharp and clear,
That told all of whom they marked,
Ravages of time, in a timeless place,
Sitting undisturbed, a forgotten place.

Resting silently and ornately made,
By gnarled creepers tis tightly embraced,
Mist flowing slowly o'er its floor,
Nothing breaking it's oppressive gloom,
Stood for countless years, the tomb.

Inside lays a girl, enclosed in glass,
An eternal beauty sleeping in white,
Long raven hair, lips full and red,
A fresh rose held against her breast,
Nothing intrudes to disturb her rest.

Oh why when others wither and fade?
Do you remain yet in cold perfection?,
Discerning eyes alight upon a clue,
At the corner of her mouth, nearly hidden,
Is a drop of fresh blood, taken not given.

ABOUT TIME MISSY!!!

What...did I miss my curfew?? :D

and boy! I have houseguests who are rudely using the guest room where my PC is located. I am now using a laptop with a wireless connection...this keyboard is teeny!!

So..unicorns, eh? That's all you could come up with?

What was the name of that movie with Tom Cruise? Legend?

I do indeed. It warms me all over.

And I see there was mention, earlier this evening, of all this thread has brought us. It brought me you! :) I have met so many people through this thread.

So thank you, Rha, and your neverending thread.

No.. but I missed you!

Kick the guests to the curb. Once you do that they rarely prove to be a bother again.

Who'd a thunk I would make a really good friend over that? *hugs*

Yes I am a bit worried. The Pensione Boccaccio is booked for the next two weeks with a succession of visitors. You'd think I lived in a tourist mecca like DC or something...:D

No doubt! If any of us have family that think we are just this side of mental for being in Second Life, this thread will convince them.

Hey .. this is kinda cool!

I'm frozen and ghosted in my own livingroom. I crashed on a bad TP, then tried to relog, which put me standing in my own living room frozen. I could turn but not move. Bec could see me but not hear me talk.

Then I crashed again, and when I tried to relog I go tthe message that I was locked out for 5 minutes.

So, I sent my bodyguard Alt there to take care of Bec and deliver a message. There I was - standing in the house just the way I had been when I last crashed. We both tried paying me, giving me items, and bumping me. Nothing made my ghost leave, and I coudn't even be bumped - the other Avi walked right through me.

Two more times I waited for the proper interval to pass and attempted to re-log, only to be locked out for another 5 minutes.

In the morning I'll send the big guy there to see if my ghost is still blocking the front door. If so, I guess I'll ask LL for a Sim restart.

Never tried to kill my own ghost before.... :)

This is the coolest story ever.
