Hmmm.. went to a best in black.. figured if I was unusual, I would stand a better chance.. they said I didn't understand the purpose of it.. I said it didn't say Best in Black clothing....

Dad had a stent implanted and is recovering nicely. He's staying overnight for observation.

Much dramaz insued this morning. My AV seems to have more fun and excitement when I'm not there, but at least she does it in style.

Say folks - I have an actual question. (I know it's gauche.)

What is the intended meaning of the cool smiley? :cool:

It has shades so it could mean cool like a beatnik. Cool could mean something is interesting and gets your brain revved up.

But the face itself has sort of a disapproving expression as in cool, not warm, distant, aloof.

So which is it s'posed to be?

I guess my age is overtaking the cultural references everybody is supposed to know.

Wow Brenda! You do have the most eventful SLife!

Weston, I just use it whenever I feel like it. When I think something is cool(good) or sometimes as a sort of shifty look - like hiding behind the glasses etc. Lots of different reasons. I think the meaning pretty much depends on how you use it.

ETA: I know I promised pictures of Ben, but he has a touch of kennel cough, and since he's not feeling well its hard to get a good pic of him.....I'm trying! lol.

I always thought it was a half-smile. An amused expression but your too cool to show it. It's a Fonzy "Ayyy!"
