Moving swiftly on...

yeah its definitely sick that i even think this is interesting or cool....let alone the fact that a thread is controlling my mind and making me post because I was probably primed and programmed to do it with subliminal messages. it has more power than anyone realizes i think. I'm the human resource department! There is nobody for ME to discuss this with. I already tried to talk with the other main boss. He did let me explain, to some degree, but isn't about to make a huge fuss between him and his partner over it. I know he did have a talk with him, rather short, but their way of handling things didn't address his attitude. It's just the way he is. The receptionist swears I'll wind up liking him (as she still cowers when he admonishes her 2 years later). Yea, right. I'm so screwed  You could try standing up to him... You must never show any emotion or be anything but completely respectful and polite. But you can say stuff like, "I'm so sorry I handled this so badly, I feel awful to have made you so upset. Please explain to me exactly how I can avoid being talked to like this in the future." And press him ever so politely on every single thing he says that doesn't make sense to you. Do it every time. It might not change him but you will walk away from each encounter feeling like you stood up for yourself and behaved way better than he did. Easy for me to say I know. _____________________
