Yay, time f'r me to put more camp piccies in the neverending thread :-)

Today started like most of the others: enjoying the mornin' surf at the beach:


We had a "Christmas in July" event:


Meanwhile, I did some fishin':


We also played the caption game, which is always tons of fun. I won! There were even a couple piccies people took that had me in them. This one was when I got caught building when I was s'posed to be sleepin':


An much like I started the day, I ended it on the sand.

Oh, that looks delicious! I made one something like that (but not nearly as pretty) using vanilla yugurt for the custard part. :)

Since you can add pretty much anything you want to the corn meal inside...you can imagine the tamales to be whatever type you wish. :)

Threadies- boy I am sooo ready for a good sleep in! Happy Saturday is around the corner-

Tamales for breakfast?? OK... In the parking lot of our local Sedanos- large Hispanic grocery store chain - there is a little old man that sells home made tamales every evening- yum! And there's a lady with a churro stand too! (Ooh... churros and hot chocolate when it's really cold- which wd not be now sinc its in the 90's!)

I live near a Hispanic grocery store where they have a deli section that cooks and serves lunch every day. OMG the food is so awesome. Sometimes I have no idea what the hell I am eating,but damn it's good.:p

Am I the only one who finds this picture troubling? I don't like chandeliers. Maybe I've seen too many action movies and cartoons where they come crashing down.
