From: Rhaorth Antonelli J's is the store that inspired me to make prim toe shoes. I love prim toe shoes LOL (I gave the bikini buyers in this thread a pair of the wedges I made, which had the prim toes in them (still not even released to the public) hopefully they enjoyed them (and got to try out the toe and nail tinting system) Anywho, J's is the first place I ever got prim toes, (and one of the very very few places I have picked up prim toes) other than my own I mean heh (now I rarely wear J's) here is a pair of my own (no not an ad, just an excuse to show them off) These are just darling, Rha. And so are yours, Brenda.

Stage 2 of le Tour de France today covered 187km (116 miles) from Monaco to Brignoles. While not really flat, neither was it hilly enough to leave the sprint specialists behind. Early in the race a four man breakaway succeeded in getting a lead over the peleton (main field of riders) that was as much as 5 minutes for some time. But the teams of the sprinters and the team of current race leader Fabian Cancellara kept them from getting any farther away. They don't like to catch them too soon though because then they end up having to chase down more attacks. Today they timed it perfectly and swept up the breakaway in the last few km. All the teams with riders capable of winning in a bunch sprint situation (when everyone gets to the finish together) tried to get their lead-out men and sprinters lined up for the best advantage. But just as none of the other sprinters seems able to beat Mark Cavendish these days so no one else has such a good lead out team. Three of Cavendish's Team Colombia High Road teammates led the way, peeling off one at a time until Cavendish was able to launch from the slip stream of the third and across the finish line well ahead of the rest of the pack. Cavendish is a Brit from the Isle of Mann and his team is a fairly new one, based in the USA. The standings for the overall race remain unchanged from yesterday, although Cavendish did take over the Green Jersey as the new leader of the sprint points competition.

From: Rhaorth Antonelli I got the skins from the drunken skins place (the hunt ones) they are really nice skins, I am gonna go back and check the prices see if they are in my budget Great - I just now nabbed them, but had not checked them out yet. The store was mobbed while I was there earlier -- a modeling of an "exclusive" skin that only has 10 copies available.

The prim toes look good but I still can't quite get my head round the idea of detachable feet!

Heya everyone!
Happy Bday Jerboa!
Ooo I really shouldn't be shopping, but maybe I need to go look at J's again if they have some new styles lol. And I didn't realise you did prim toe shoes Rha, I'll have to look at yours too. I love prim toe shoes, but the full prim feet seem to always go wierd on me. Every single time I see a pair, on me or anyone else, even on display in the store, one of the feet seems to have turned the other way round in the shoe, and the toes are wiggling out of the end of the show on their own. I'll have to take a pic next time it happens. It's annoying!

Here is a fairly typical Elven look for me. I try to emphasize the slightly otherworldy aspect of my face.

I saw no fireworks And when I got back to the room, the stupid tv was showing wall to wall coverage of Michael Jackson. Except for one channel showing what was happening in Boston. Which did not seem to consist of any fireworks.

They usually show the Boston Pops for an hour and whatever special guests they have there singing and then the fireworks around 10:30.So you probably seen just the first part. I missed it this year, but it seems to be pretty much the same every year...:/ Night threadies.

Hi everybuggy! G'mornin, g'night, good whatever it is when you read this! I had a busy busy weekend, and yes, it's time f'r me to flood the undyin' with a buncha piccies, some of which could be considered -- gasp! --vanity! In fact, I know already this'll tae a couple posts f'r all th' piccies. Let's start at Thursday, right before the holiday weekend. I was in a play at the Old Willowdale Theater, playing the part of both the witch in Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood. Here I am tellin gramma what big eyes she has Friday was hippo washing day, of course! An I also took some time on Friday to play dress-up. See? I can look all growed up like everybuggy else! Then Saturday, the 4th of July. I first went and enjoyed a showing of Professor Antfarmoffski's World Renowned Flea Circus. I highly recommend this show: it is unlike a lot of stuff in SL, an well worth your time. Good for a laugh, at least! Continued...

It being the 4th, an Saturday, I hadda blow stuff up, I ended up doing *two* firework shows this weekend, even! My first show - the one I announced -- filled the sim (in fact, overfilled, as two Lindens in attendance used their admin powers to get in). Here's another shot of one of my views of the show, looking down at my platform: At the second show, Crap Mariner brought the video camera, an caught the whole thing. for all nearly-30 minutes of fireworks (without sound, however), see http://firstlife.isfullofcrap.com/2009/07/marianne_mccanns_fireworks_for.htmlLittleMe also took some amazing piccies, which she linked a bit earlier today too. But I'm not done yet, even! Sunday started with Kid Scouts, which has finally returned. I earned my sculpture badge (that was what the hippo was for) an my marksmanship badge. I was the best shot in the group too! Here I am, proudly displayin' my newest patches. Then after a birthday party for my friend Molly Montale, I decided to set out my lemonade stand. Gotta get a little spending money f'r camp an all. It's always fun to see who will show up when I do this. This time we had everyone from a total noob (born today!) to Maureen from this very thread to a Linden come by for a glass of lemonade. It was way fun. Oh, the noob is not in this piccie - he got there right afters. An to finish out the night... dancing. Knowing that SL6B would be ending soon, And jes to finish off such a big ol' weekend, me an my brother wound up the blurtophones an invited folks over f'r dancin an fun! It was jes a bit of fun randomness t' finish the weekend. An that's it! Hope everybuggy else also had a ton of fun an a great week ahead!
