Oh - me and Mom, yesterday:

Me: I have off tomorrow.

Her: Why?

Me: For the fourth of July.

Her: You know it's the third, don't you?

Me: Yes, tomorrow is a federal holiday.

Her: What holiday?

Me: Independence Day.

Her: But tomorrow is the third.

It went on like that for a bit. What she was concerned about was that I'd mistakenly stay home when I ought to be at work. I'm sure she was picturing getting a call from my boss asking where I was.

Happy almost July 4th all!

Wonderful pix everyone! None from me, been too busy running around in RL and not spending time in SL the past couple of days.

Ghosty and I decided at the very last minute to take a little jaunt out of town for the holiday and we're heading to Philly for the weekend. Got a fantastic rate at the Four Seasons, which is right near where the fireworks are being held, and we hear Sheryl Crow is the headliner for music - Wo0T! Plus, the Star Trek exhibit is currently in town (I've seen it already, but he hasn't).

So, we're prepping to leave, more or less. No hurry since it's a quick drive from where we live.

Happy almost July 4th all!

Wonderful pix everyone! None from me, been too busy running around in RL and not spending time in SL the past couple of days.

Usually, Lemania's daily specials are only out for about 24 hours, which means you probably only have until around 10:00-noon SLT to grab it for L$100. I have no clue what the dress is at regular price.

@Lula, please send my regards to your son this Holiday. I hope he can come home soon. I talked to my brother last night, he will be completing tour time in Afghanistan at the end of the summer. But after a month with his family back in Germany, he will be going to Korea, again.

Afternoon folks. Flying visit into The Thread as I have to go out RL. Have a great 4th July hol all those to whom it applies. Get back to work all those others. ;)

I now have Firefox up and running and wheeeee, it seems *fast*.
Might need a bit of tweaking, but so far, so good. It's a lot easier to manage than I thought it was going to be.

@Brenda. For a moment there I thought, "Night Shift? Cool. That's a great name." :D
