Decided to say hi before I start catching up.
It's been a mega hot day here, really humid so I've had a headache all day, plus starting new meds, so it hasn't been a fab day.

So I'm consoling myself with some yummy 'nilla ice cream and dark chocolate sauce :p

At least now I have fair warning that tomorrow will be warm so I can maybe get some fresh air in the garden without worrying about getting scorched accidentally lol.

Bleh - it makes it too easy to have an innuendo if all the slang phrases are also common everyday words. I intend to remain in ignorant bliss.

To answer the robot question (from this morning) all those who would find Dystopia in having robots (or nanites as I believe would probably be closer to what would happen) doing all the drudgery for you, may give me your share. All the folks who want to write a great novel, or even a mediocre novel, and all those who would compose a new type of music no one has ever heard before, and all those who find new art mediums to express and share the human condition, and even all those who are just wannabe creative, will thrive and have a lot to contribute to the human race while you are doing the dishes.


A bit grouchy tonight folks. Don't mind me. Another day of talking to predatory business creeps on the phone and having to be "professional," keeping me from verbally incinerating them as I would like and as I would be skilled at doing, having an arsenal of comebacks stored up with nowhere to go. It's all so fake, the corporate world. I am a fish out of water.

I guess the fantastic SL weekend spoiled me. I'd better get in world and be the happy dog quick!

Teryl Rothery played the medical officer on Stargate SG-1 in its early seasons among other things. She is the reason I watched that show. She has that deceptive sweetness, but the character could be tough when called for.


It was sad when her character was killed, too. I cried and cried at the eulogy.

Can somebody please remove this post from the forum? It keeps popping up in every other search I run no matter what criteria I select! It doesn't even have a real topic and it's only purpose seems to be to show at the top of the list in search results. I want to shoot it in the head. How can I "ignore it and let it die" if it's in my face every time I turn around? Somebody please make it REALLY die. Grrrr.

It's really easy. Just go back to your post and therre is an edit button there. Follow that button and click the radio button for Delete This Post. The hit the big Delete button.

It's the radio button that throws people so don't feel bad about missing it.

I do wonder what you added a post just to ask about deleting that post but hey, I have heard of other stupid things before.

Thanks -- I'll get the info on it when I log in tomorrow. The outfit name is Riley, but drawing a blank on the store -- I was just in the store this weekend -- and it comes in black and white and with 3 or 4 skirts and a sheer and semi-sheer top. Not at all expensive though.
