:p I am gonna go RP a nap. :D

Already? That was quick :p

Ghosty and I have a new word for naps since our trip, when we would take long ones in the middle of the afternoon, with the balcony door wide open so we could listen to the waves lapping against the ship: "Cruise Snooze".

What it now means is, we're going to take more than a cat nap, but less than sleeping for the night :) Both of us agreed we hadn't slept that well in years.

Anyway - good morning to everone! It's raining pretty heavily here. Trying to get out the door to get to the "other house" to pick up some more of my things (the rain is making it not very appealing), but Ghosty didn't have to be into work until noon today, so no rush.

BTW, went over to Zindra yesterday. How disappointing. But I did visit the now infamous stonehenge like phallic object (I keep thinking of the Led Zeppelin album Presence when I say "The Object";) and took pictures for the heck of it. Seemed obligatory. This photo was the best of the bunch and not as cheesey as the one of me sitting ON the thing.

Congrats, Brenda on post #74,000. Remember the days when we used to have lottery pools for momentous milestones like this? Remember the days when this forum used to be fun? Remember when I used to be fun?

I do, but barely.

Yay me. Yes,dearest hamset, I do remember, quite fondly. *Blows a kiss your way* And you dropping in out of lurkdom makes me remember them even moreso. :)

Okay, correct me if I am wrong here...but if Xstreet is now owned by LL,why do I still have to go to a terminal to deposit lindens? Shouldn't it just be automatic now,or am I doing something wrong?

You know I was wondering the same thing... right before I decided it was too much of a pain in the butt to use Xstreet. I only use it as a search tool. If I find something I want I look up the seller in world and go to their store an buy it there. A lot of times it saves you a little money too because sellers often mark up the item in Xstreet to cover LL's commision.

They need to connect the currency pipe.

Thanks :) I do not know which picture you mean, though. I even looked back. Which one looks like I'm getting out of the helicopter?

Argh! I need to slow down! It's just that this thread gets so many posts so quickly.

I meant this one, but now I see what's really happening.

You're crouched the way ppl are when they walk away from a helicopter, and I was going FAST and didn't see.

I went in world and couldn't find the damn thing for sale anywhere they said it would be. :( Even the demo LM was wrong. I guess I'll get off my lazy ass and find a terminal. Must buy new photo studio.... :o

It looks to me like she is flying on some kind of space-age flying surfboard and being chased by someone in a chopper.

I use xstreet A LOT. I shop while I'm at work and compare stuff. I make up lists of LMs to visit too.

Right now I look at lots of skybox designs there.

When I get inworld, I have all this stuff waiting for me.

Yesterday I was looking at megaprim organizers and after some looking found the Salt HUD, which is (1) really cool and (2) a freebie. You ask for a certain size megaprim, and it delivers it to you, so you don't have them all in inventory.

LOL! It didn't look like a tongue when I was there :o In fact, I kept looking at it trying to figure out what the hell it was trying to be. If it was a tongue, I don't think the creator did a very good job of getting their point across. However, in MY photo, I sure did help it along :p

Another rainy day in New York City
Softly sweet, so silently it falls
As crosstown traffic crawls

Memories in my way in New York City
Tender, tough, too tragic to be true
And nothing I can do

City workers cheer
The taxis disappear
Another rainy day in New York City

Another spacy stay in New York City
High up in an overpriced hotel
The view is really swell

Windy, wet and gray in New York City
No one here I really want to see
Old friends and family

So suddenly serene
The air is fresh and clean
Another rainy day in New York City
