Last night I stopped in at the Hangout and happened to find Mr. Jackie. I am pleased to report that he looks even better in person than in the pictures.

Because of all the turning and spinning I couldn't get a decent picture of us dancing. By the time I figure that out you all will have seen him anyway.

I don't know if there is a woman that gives out things like trout ratings. But I give high marks. Nice threads, nice butt. Good hair and face.

Two thumbs up. Three stars. Two and half forks.

Nika was the one giving out ratings for the guys, but i think I was the only one she ever rated.

Morning Damien, lovely picture of Fuschia there, and I *think* the purple might be a type of verbena, but not positive.
We can ad do grow lots of fuschias around here. (And the purple flowers are scented geraniums.)
This is a fuschia, they are similar, now you mention it.

I used to grow a lot of Columbine, my garden was very shady and perfect for growing then; but never saw it in that color combination. Plus, without seeing the rest of the plant, I can see how I got it mixed up with the Fuschia! It seemed to me the flower was kind of flowing from above, from a vine, not growing from the ground below. That would have tipped me off which was which had I been able to see the whole plant for sure. In any event, it sure is an interesting color combination for a Columbine! Had I seen those, I would have scooped up quite a few of them.

Yeah I totally see what you mean. I think that plant is having to really reach for the light and is on some pretty spindly legs.

Those columbine look a lot like this...

Gorgeous flowers, Kaimi and Damien!

So I just got out of the shower, right? I put on a mudmask, which is black mud from the Dead Sea or something (my sister got it in Israel) I go into the bedroom wearing my short robe, wearing a towel on my head around my hair, and this ultra-black mud mask. My dogs are laying on the bed, and they look up at me. Rolf starts growling in this really unsure tone, and Greta's eyes went all big and scared, like she wanted to run away. Their bodies were all tense, and the atmosphere in the room went sort of electric. I totally started laughing, and then they got all sheepish, relaxed their bodies, started smiling and wagging their tails, like "We knew it was you all along." Silly dogs. :)
