That is a weird conversation  But, I'm glad to hear she's ok! That sucks that she can't access from work any longer. I mean, it's only a forum for cripes sake.

It is a "Lexxi Convo" has all the right elements- forlorn looking for missing prizes - but i am glad she is fine- weird thign though- she can get into sl but not forums... the job has odd security priorities!

That's it!! A brainstorm!

We need to set up a Lexxi flikr watch, and pipe her pics into the thread.

Then, she can be here, without actually being here. Genius!

Who has first watch? :D

Or do we actually ask her first?

Since my planned afternoon of stimulating the economy has been sidetracked, i am going to have lunch and get into a game of CivIV for the afternoon.

Chili, extra meaty, no beans over rice. I think I even have some Doe Equiis in the fridge. I'll send Boomer out to play with his girlfriend next door. He seems to like older women.

Indeed it is! I have no idea where Lexxi is from, somehow because of the job situation, how she talks about it, I picture her as being from some small, upcoming European country, working for their government. She's locked up in a small office with a few other people, who all sit practically on top of each other, able to see each others monitors easily. They work with sensitive security issues, and because of this are concerned that Linden Labs may breach their system at any moment so they've taken away the ability to log onto the SL Forum.

How devious and wrong!

Since you seem to wish my attention to errors then I will point out that it should probably be Dos Equis.

What IS snow?

20F, snow showers (wind chill 5F)
  1. Snow is formed from water vapors in the cold clouds that have condensed into ice crystals
    .
  2. Ice crystals fasten onto a dust speck. One crystal attaches to another forming a snowflake. Once the snowflake is heavy enough, it falls from the cloud.
  3. A snowflake is either a single ice crystal or many crystals.
  4. The size of a snowflake is determined by how many ice crystals join together.
  5. The tops of clouds must be below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, or 0 degrees Celsius in order for snowfall to occur.
  6. Snow can fall from any layered cloud that is cold enough.

Ooh! I like this- let's not change it with the truth what ever it might be.. I think we have the beginnings of something here..

/Cue camera...

Darkened office space, cubicles all around. The busy workers, heads bent over their barely lit computer screens.. a musty smell of enclosed palces, stale coffee and moldy carpeting, underlayed with 100 year old cigarrette. Camera pans in closer, a far corner of this oppressive room... In a cubicle in the farthest north west corner, our Kitteh sits with head bowed, frantically typing at her KB - trying to find the missing shipment of MQ47-099 - a Super Secret new Dry Cleaning Formula meant to be used by the country's ruling elite! If this falls into the wrong hands.. Sadly this new responsibility has taken the Kitteh' last vestige of freedom from her.. she can no longer breathe the clean fresh air of the Thread.. but the clock ticks.. and soon.. soon.. she wil be free again - mean time.. her soul walks SL in the hopeless Quest of missing prizes.. Twisted Hunt, indeed.

Amara, tell Lexxi that's fine -- we'll forgive her absence from the forum. However, there is NO excuse for not responding in group chat when we're calling her.

Hmpf.

Kisses me and then leaves.

A girl could get a complex!

I talked with Lexxi last night, too. She was in the process of removing some of her stuff from the hangout and other places in SL, reducing prim counts. At the time, Lexxi was debating whether or not to remove the bull from the hangout corral...

Edit: Lexxi also indicated that her desk had been moved and it was now situated very close to the boss.

All I could think about was how a teacher moves a kid to the front of the classroom, to keep an eye on him/her. :p
