rats., another night slowly doing nothing. wasted. wasn't quick enough on offer, so continued bouncing around boredly by self.
Beginning to hate those winter login screens. Keeps slapping me in the face that I can't find those places. knowing some "Winterfaire" or whatever is going on. Not like last year where there was some hud to lead you around. This year seems to just tell you to look at showcase. I keep trying to get to first one, find it full, and give up. _____________________

This year seems to just tell you to look at showcase. I keep trying to get to first one, find it full, and give up. They lost me as soon as they said go to the showcase. I am with you.. a hud or a slurl to get started and on the right path would have been so much better. _____________________

So, I just asked my boss if we could leave early tomorrow (being as he's a grinch and I was quite positive we were going to work a full day on Xmas Eve). He asked "why"? I said, "well the weather was horrible this past weekend, and I know it's a crappy excuse but I never got to the supermarket because of it and I really could use getting home early to shop for some provisions haha" He actually said ok. I think I may faint. Yay..on two counts...48,000th post...AND you can leave work early tomorrow!!! (well...today  ) |

Brenda? LOL. I have two cats here. One is mine.. it is the "chatty" one. Every morning around 4-5AM (I often don't go to sleep until after 3AM) it gets in my face and meows. To this day I have no clue what it wants. It won't stop to be petted.. it just gets in my face and meows. It was a kitten when I got it from the pound. It had been hit by a car and the people there felt bad for it so they let it live beyond it's D-date. I named it "Happy" because I figured after such a rough start it had to be happy to get out of the pound. Woah.. Ann posts a LOLCat and I act like I am on the psychiatrist's couch...... /tangent _____________________

I've decided that going shopping for supplies for Christmas in the early hours, just to avoid the crowds is pointless. Once Upon A Time... A seed laid dormant 'neath the ground and at times did stir and reach out but was never properly fed- the sun did not reach it, or the water was not enough- it languished. One day, a ray of sun, cut thru the mists and reached below the ground its warmth enough to make the seed stir further.. tendrils reaching - coursing - it delved its way thru and finally broke the ground. Whitish-green leaflets... it moved the dirt and straining, did break thru.. The full sun beat down upon it.. stretching, it did reach out, leaves unfurling like tiny flags, stems arched and extended - fulfillment in a sunkiss - growing to fruition.. what it was always meant to be and finally - was... Growing, growing.. ~~~~ Spring is around the corner- winter lays around us but soon will be a memory... /me smiles |
