Morning Threadites :)

I rather liked the Frank Lloyd Wright looking kitchen over the shiny one; shiny would be hell to keep clean- we would have to hire and Under-Thread cleaning staff!

Rioko, you, the boots and the family all have a fabulous time and make you check back with exploits... me I will have a rather mundane sort of house cleaning and off for a little (more) office work today .. oh well...

Until later Thread, pat, pat...

ah, but I'm an avid cook. I want inspiration, not cosiness. A kitchen is a laboratory not a living room for me.

Mind you, my living room would be along the same lines :)

I'd have to ban cats though. No time for pawprints over these shiny surfaces...

I'll leave it to Feline and Joseph to discuss this matter with you.:D

they could wear protective booties. That's my concession to cats everywhere.

Gosh... I am so glad Thread is here!

/me sits under the warm kitchen counter covered in nice lolzcats shuddering...

I took a little waltz among the other topics and - well.. hate to break it to any of you that haven't been out there... but there are some seriously aggrieved folks out there! There are RANTS! And screaming and upset people! so much more welcoming here in the Thread...

Less than a week to go for Prince Caspian. I'm getting antsy.

Never really enjoyed Prince Caspian. The Silver Chair and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader... now you're talking.

Is it the intention to film the whole set?

Dawn Treader is already listed as pre-production 2010 so I think so. Although I can see the last couple running into some hurdles. Things start getting less fantasy-fic and more philosophical...almost quasi-religious by the end.

That was my problem with the first one- not that it came across that way to me- but that the media and friends felt compelled to inform me of the messianic qualities of the lion. I would rather enjoy movies with out having philosophy forced upon me - if I find it therein fine, if not- it's just eye candy.

Something sleek and modern like this would be more my speed. I'd have to ban cats though. No time for pawprints over these shiny surfaces...
I like the stainless steel kitchen although... my cats know they are not to walk on the counters when humans are present...

I thought Tilda Swinton did a decent job as the White Witch...well, the cast, apart from the four Pevensies, all did quite well.

I wanted to throttle whoever cast those children.

Looking forward to the rest of the series, and am checking now to see where Prince Caspian will be playing. (forgotten it was opening so soon!)

And: I still don't like the stainless steel kitchen, but will yield to the majority.

No quasi about it. It's the christian bible story through and through. But hey, it's still a good story.

Wow a new kitchen! My main will need some protective booties too. :D

@Amar.. I am gonna venture out there and see some threads. I may be back to the thread of serenity and peace soon. On Second Citizen there were two people that had a major forum war that spread from one end of the forum to the other. It was as messy as anyone can imagine. The owner of the board (up to that point) had a no moderate policy. Anything posted stayed regardless of what it was (which you can imagine was quite yucky at times). So when this war broke out the first time (yes, first time) the owner made a thread called "The Bunker". It was only for nice stuff and no war stuff was allowed. It was fun and pleasant but this thread kills it in good times land. :D
