From: Jerboa Haystack Last night was my company's holiday party. They did things right. Semi-formal, a live band that played a variety of music including danceable jazz. The works really...it was a fabulous night.
(Have I mentioned I love where I work?) It has been so long since I've had a company party like that. Our department has a Holiday Graze-a-thon each year -- a pot luck, spread across many days, with different groups being responsible for bringing stuff in each day. This year, for some odd reason, they cut it back to two days - next Tue and Thr. (Have I mentioned that I don't really like where I work?)

I'm lucky if my bosses remember to ask what I'm doing for the holidays This year, will be quite interesting. Ghosty converted to Hinduism years ago(although, born and raised in some form of Christianity). I am an unreligious Jewess. We realized this will be the first year we won't be celebrating Christmas in any form whatsoever as we obviously are both not involved with someone who does celebrate that holiday. It's kind of strange to be out of the fray for the first time in eons, but we're sort of enjoying the stresslessness of it, other than the few gifts for immediate family that need to be done (and most of that is cash for my nieces and nephews anyway, how easy does that get?). However, it would be nice if my bosses would at least remember to take us for a celebratory lunch out or something. A gift basket. A bottle of wine. W don't even get bonuses anymore (used to, for years). Whatever. They usually wait until after the New Year and by then, it's uneventful to say the least.

I've lost the ability to login again. yay me. Stupid requirment of another download. I just downloaded the latest official viewer, dang it.

Update: I have the most recent offical viewer. There isn't a more offical viewer I could download. And so ,.. .I really am locked out of SL again. Won't let me in without downloading the viewer already using.
