From: Brenda Connolly Yeah, it was tragic when she died....... Especially since it stuck Apollo with that Goddamn kid. LOL did you ever try to watch Battlestar Galactica 1980? Boxey was an adult and was pretty much assuming the Apollo role. Even as a kid I hated it. Sadly I have the 1980 DVD.

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

From: Yosef Okelly So ... any Battlestar Galactica fans here? Did you notice the weapon locker the "final 5 - 1" were meeting in? 1701 D Oh god, I am such a geek. Really? That's cool! Good old Enterprise.

I loved Babylon 5! There is a Zocalo in SL- btw. I was also a great fan of the spinoff- Crusade... "Who are you? Who do you serve?" Techno mages rock! All the Star Treks- I still watch Enterprise over and over. I did like Buck Rogers and his his painted on white suit And re-runs of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea- and Ooh!! Time Tunnel! Those last two in re-runs - not old enough to remember them when they were new - I'm not really 93 - I fibbed- Don't know Starlost but is Blake 7 the one with a hologram dude that had something embedded in his forehead?

Oh Yes, the B5 RP sim is great, you can sometimes find me patrolling it on the Security team. I never thought any show could replace Trek, but B5 did nudge to the top of my list, although the spinoffs were only so so for me. There is a channel on my cable system that right now is showing The old "UFO, Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlets." Thank heavens for DVR's

I'm watching LOST tonight. I both hate and love that show. After each episode, I'm left wondering "what the hell? I don't get it". Yet each week, I watch. Maybe I just enjoy the island setting, without the bickering you get on Survivor.

Guess how old I am!

I still remember when Desilu Productions owned the rights to and produced Star Trek! and I saw the shows as they were released...I am that old...yeppers!
Captain James Tiberious Kirk was my hero... and so was Ilia Kiriakim in the Man from U.N.C.L.E.
I used to HATE when my dad would tell me to change the channel so that he could watch (what was that awful show) Hee Haw! Bleh!

or I used to love the movie Flash Gordon. I remember the movie Tron....but I don't think I've seen it since I was a kid...so I don't remember the black hole. I remember the guys riding around in funny suits like riding circuits or something. I really should see it again as a refresher. I know I liked it, but I can't remember much of it...LOL

I remember my dad taking me to see The Black Hole. It was the first Disney Movie not to have a G rating.
