From: Maggie McArdle /me staggers in and looks at Rioko cause she gave me her coldamajig, looks around for some juice and or whiskey or a combo of one or the other, snags some snacks and staggers back out. Awwww. Poor baby! Come sit over here next to me, Maggie... you can sit under the umbrella, or out in the sunshine. Or lie down on this nice comfy beach bed. The fresh air will be good for you. And we have lots of juice. No one kick any sand anywhere near Maggie!

From: Oryx Tempel Thanks Wendy!
/me comments to Elora that the cabana boy does indeed seem to be somewhat lackadaisical this morning. She puts on her glam Versace sunglasses, sips her frothy drink, and lays back, staring into the deep blue depths of the sky, thinking of nothing in particular, really, just enjoying the warm day. Am I the cabana boy? If so, non-SL-related life is giving me a run for my money today. I had a friend once - an actual travelling judge. Went from town to town doing municipal judge work for towns too small to have their own full time court officers. He is one of my favorite people ever. He used to say that in life, you are never eaten by monsters. Instead you are pecked to death by ducks. I know what he means now. It's not the big things that get you - you're prepared for those. It's the billions and billions of tiny details that sneak up on you and overwhelm you when you least expect it. Back to work!

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Xerxes! In all the excitement of getting packed up for the beach trip, I completely forgot to compliment you on today's XPOD. Very topical, since it, too, was beach-related. Did those pelicans only score one fish between them on their expedition??? No wonder they have to ask for some pointers from non-avian fisher. Hey, did anyone notice if there is a dock near our beach spot? We might be getting some late arrivals by sea...

So I been away from this neverending story post for awhile...the thought of reading back over the hundreds of pages just makes me tired. Can anyone give me the Readers Digest version update of the story line here? -Blu- currently located in the State of Confusion

Basically a bunch of randomness has ensued...we are now haveing a beach party and sympathising with Maggie for her cold, apart from Mac who seems to think me hitting him deserved a bow chicka wow wow... Oh, and we learnt that Axe body spray a.k.a Lynx is irresistable...
I think thats about it.

Back to work! OMG, I am so having that kind of day! I'm back in the house after the fumigation, sort of. Gas didn't get turned back on, all the foodstuffs are in random bags all over the kitchen, the floor is still sticky from the spilled bottle of corn syrup, one of the f'ing cats got out the front door and is wandering around the courtyard..... I'm not even mentioning all the work stuff I should be doing right now. I feel like crawling into bed an pulling the covers over my head. /me waves to the cabana boy... one of those tall, cool, frothy ones over here, please.
