From: Keira Wells My art teacher in 8th grade was on a team that did sand sculptures... He had some pictures of simply amazing things from competitions, just messing about.. There're so many things people don't normally think of for sand that can be done, and I absolutely love them!
Awesome picture! Years back, I went to the Dominican Republic with some friends. We sculpted a big sand penis laying flat out. I know, truly unoriginal. What can I say, the things you find funny after a few ron-colas... Anyway, I sat right behind the 'sculpture' as if I and it were connected, and we took a picture. Again, I know, really not that funny. By the time we came back home, and developed the pictures, we had forgotten about it. Even going through the photos after, we would be looking at our faces, not the sand. So my mother took some of the pictures to show her boss. The woman (very conservative), slapped the picture away and said something like, "Disgusting!".

From: Windy Lefavre /me hands Oryx a cold beverage. Now its even better! Thanks Wendy! /me comments to Elora that the cabana boy does indeed seem to be somewhat lackadaisical this morning. She puts on her glam Versace sunglasses, sips her frothy drink, and lays back, staring into the deep blue depths of the sky, thinking of nothing in particular, really, just enjoying the warm day.

But at least he is good eye candy

/me joins Oryx and Elora - soaking up the sun and sound of the surf. We are quickly surrounded by seagulls after Elora empties a few egg-bacon sandwich crusts from her lunch bag. Oryx is not amused.

Oryx is not amused. Oops so sorry! BTW did you know that seagulls are so disgusting that they will eat anything including baby ducks? No s--t. I saw it happen. I was with my sister and her family, including my neice and nephew who were really young at the time. We were at their rented beach house, well "lagoon house" one summer and the gulls were circling around because of the ducks and the hatchlings. One by one, they swooped down and grabbed each and everyone one of them and yes; gobbled them up! The kids were traumatized to say the least. We were too. Who knew they were so awful? I mean, I always knew they would eat every last piece of garbage around but ducklings? Is there no mercy?

/me throws down the brush/de-shedding glove/gauntlet in front of Joseph Abel.
You! You ... are .... dreadfully witty, and your purr is ... inarguably pleasant! I haven't seen Joseph in here for a while, so maybe he won't mind too much if I stand in for him. I thank you for your gracious and well-conceived words, sir. Your mind is as pure and transparent as the finest Exeter crystal and the vacuum inside your skull puts the vast depths of interstellar space to shame. You are a wonder and a marvelous creature to behold! May I add, sir, that your daily photographic essays, labeled "XPOD" by the inconsequential hoi-polloi, indubitably result in responses both witty and profound, and reflect accurately on the nature of your character and taste.

From: Amaranthim Talon Seriously- where the heck IS Yosef??? Taking a break. Playing super dad and trying to teach a 15 year old girl how to drive. Work is a nightmare as I try to nail everything down before I leave for Canada for 2 weeks. Expect to be wooed in June, tho. I'll be desperate for some adult conversation that has nothing to do with oil. .. unless it's baby oil ...

Let's not confuse Joseph Abel (the bikini-wearing werecat) with Yosef O'Kelly, affectionately known as Yo-yo and designated Forum Cartel Boytoy.
On the other hand, let's not let Yo-yo sulk, either. Maybe it's time for a little PM barrage.
