From: Derbor Torok /me running and ducking... thanks for pointing the finger in my general direction bud.
I did not mean to insult anyone, just a dumb observation from my time working with French Canadians. But to be fair, some of the nicest and best looking people I met in Canada where of French extraction... (Was that too obvious?)
.d Morning Threadies Thanks for Breakfast Maureen My ancestors were extracted from Canada by force, when the British threw the French peasants out, causing a mass migration of Acadian's to Louisiana. Being true southerners we shortened Acadian to Cajun. "CX"

Bring on the junk food and sweets! It's International No Diet Day!
International No Diet Day
When: Always on May 6th
International No Diet Day encourages us to appreciate the bodies we have. You could consider it a "Big" backlash against becoming little (err thin), people. This day is intended for us to appreciate the body we have. It encourages us to recognize that people come in all shapes and sizes....... and that's okay.
Anti-diet groups exist to assist and support people who suffer illnesses like anorexia, in their efforts to shed fat and be thin. In addition to anorexia, other medical problems can result from taking diet pills, and surgeries, such as stomach stapling, to control weight.
International No Diet Day is a good opportunity to reassess and evaluate your weight management goals and perspective, and to make certain your efforts to be thin don't come at a risk to your health. If you decide that continuing your diet is right for you, then use today to take a one day break.
Remember the old saying: "You're body is your temple." In your efforts to make your temple a thin one, do so in a safe and healthy manner.
Origin of International No Diet Day: International No Diet Day was created by Mary Evans Young in 1992, Mary is the director of the British group "Diet Breakers". After personally experiencing anorexia, she worked to help people appreciate themselves for what they are, and to appreciate the body they have.

@Amara, I haven't seen Yosef post in a while, not doing his duty I see. @Maureen, cool pic! I thought it looked a little strange (bacon, plastic fork) But I would have never guessed it was a cake! @Rioko, don't worry about the sink full of dishes, you have enough on your plate with work and kids. @CX, MORNIN' COUSIN @Xerxes, sweet picture. Looks a bit like Strawberry Shortcake. The black gloves are a bit strange, though - maybe normal for that period? @Rob, you big tease! George has beautiful eyes... As for International No Diet Day, I'm all for that! Just, enough with the desserts and sweets, I'd rather have two helpings of the main course. @Elora,
