Does anyone know a mod well enough that they can come in and remove that one post with out endangering the Thread?
Hopefully they realize locking the thread over one errant post would only serve to encourage the behavior. Anybody could just start up an alt, spew off, and shut down any thread somebody doesn't like?!? (which would be most all of em).

ohhhhh.....somehow, I think this will not be a hardship for you. :p

But don't forget to take pics of the renovations so we can distribute them throughout the underworld.

I dunno.. I rather like my hide attached firmly to my pixels :)

I heard back from Millie, and she told me that due to the size of this thread, only the database manager can do anything about the post. I have asked who that is so I can contact him/her.

This would make work soooo much better:

Heehee... this pic totally reminds me of one of my first jobs. One of the owners was a curmudgeonly old guy in his 60's, who never had a nice word for anyone, while his business and life partner was very sweet and outgoing. The sweet guy insisted they get a couple of kittens, but it was the curmudgeon who couldn't bear to leave them at home and brought them to work everyday for over a year...

@ Tex... I'm so glad you weathered the storm well... I was keeping good thoughts for you and others in the path, even though I haven't been posting much.

Morning, everyone else. :) /me waves at the threadies.

New topic: last night Cee and I did Annabelle's hunt, had a blast and picked up a few very cool stuffs. It's more like a pirate scavenger hunt, with one clue leading to another, than a usual SL scour-the-earth hunt. It's very interactive too, with Annabelle showing off her scripting skilz!

Just go to Annabelle Babii's store at Tortuga Mall and click on the treasure map to start. Plus, Trout's store is there, too!
:D
Awesome - I made a note of it last night when it came up in chat. I love the "clue" type hunts the best, so this should be tons of fun.

Sounds like some screwy database design problem then. I'm glad I'm not in charge of that database.

Yes...yes it is :D Not that I would ever plug my store or anything...

Annabelle's hunt is really great. I had a blast doing it, although with my attention span, I periodically wandered off and got distracted. She has some great prizes, too.

I really need to get to work on building up inventory...and on Love's rating (sorry). Now that I can take some time to get a breath of air, I'll get back to the fun stuff.

Hint that comes in handy once or twice: keep an eye on your local chat window.

And, if you can't find the crypt, send Cee or I an IM!
