As a member of the Free Alts Society and Creative Intervention and Security from Tierney Service, I can offer some suggestions. First why should any of your alts have to go? You seem to believe that there is a limit to the number of alts you can have. True there is a limit to the number of accounts associated to one email address (5) but why not create another email address? Then you can have lots more alts. Except given your current attitude towards alts I feel your standing as a good provider for alts should be put to review.
But why should they be the ones to go? Downgrade the FD Spark account, promote one of your more worthy alts and knock yourself off.

Honest, I'm no saint - I can be a real PITA- proud, opinionated, obnoxious, clingy at times, single-minded to the point of obsession, stubborn, self-centered, etc, etc- but I just want people to be happy. I can't believe I did this (after failing or dropping out of English 101 eight times in college) but I actually attempted to write a sonnet:


I need to take a break from Second Life
Because First Life is getting in the way
I will miss everybody, even Strife
But certainly I will return someday

I have been spending too much time online
And lurking on the forums quite a bit
These simple pleasures I must now decline
For something more important, I'll admit

I hate my job and want to change careers
And have to focus energy on that
I need to overcome my deepest fears
And take a chance. I'm tired of standing pat

So now it's time to study and to train
And hopefully a new career I'll gain
