Yosef- anything you write is sheer poetry by default- I wouldn't waste too much time trying to frame it ;)

Sorry to interrupt with sad news but I've just learned that Champion Valiant has died. When he owned Diegoland (now San Diego in SL) I was a tenant there and also received a monthly salary from him for sign making and other artwork. He was a really nice guy. I'm really sorry to hear this.
Here's his obituary.

Sorry to hear that Kaimi

Oh, that is so sad, Kaimi. What an interesting guy, and I love Diegoland/San Diego in SL. He was so young, too!

Thank you.

Pep (But the limerick I sent to Ms Talon privately would , I fear, NOT have been accepted for public display . . . )

LOL! I am sure Amara enjoyed it. :)

Alas, limericks are all I'm good for today.

There once was a lass called Amara
Who put everything off till tomarah
On the day that she died
Her friends laughed, no one cried
She was lively, so no cause for sorrah.

Sorry about your loss and his family and friends Kaimi, I don't know who the guy is or anything about San Diego but it was great you were able to get job doing art work and signs from him.

I am deeply offend because I wouldn't laugh.
Amara has been good friend, she would be deeply missed.
Don't you dare dis her I will pound and flatten you to 2d.
For you see,
I'd miss her scolding my grumpy elf self.
I'd miss her words.
I'd miss her smile.
I'd miss seeing her on my friend list even when I am in hiding.
Take that back you fool, no one would laugh.
What in hell is sorrah, or even a tomarah?
Quick lets call the the spelling police and put you away
in the stockade and douse you with lemonade.
How dare you speak of such things of sweet Amara,
she is friend to us all, and what is this death you speak of.
Avatars and Amara shall never die!

/me sulks because free criticism and correction of others' spelling and grammar is what has largely got him into trouble - and now it seems acceptable all of a sudden.

Pep (Double standards belong in that "Her Quandry" thread)

*takes deep breath and looks sternly at Pep*

I usually restrain myself in these situations, but I direct your attention to the post to which I responded; therein you will find the request for assistance.

It's not the criticism, it's the attitude behind it. When you act like a dick people put you on ignore. Attitude is everything.

I have a sermon on that I could give. II Cor, chap 13 ... normally quoted by lovers but then that is not the whole point. It's about actions from the heart. The widow with 2 miites as an example. But this is really not the place.

/me is so perverse that he actually enjoys that when he is joking people take him seriously and when he is being serious people assume he is joking.

Pep (Is there a smily denoting sarcasm?)

I am just trying to argue in a sonnet in my own uneducated brain laggy way.
No Lindal I won't pour lemonade on you, nor put you in the stockade or at least now without your consent.

I prefer Heinlein's science fiction to that of Saul/Paul

Pep (And his philosophies on love and sharing too)
