Welcome Arilynn! You do realise you can't leave now don't you? I bet Mac didn't tell you that when he tempted you over here lol.

/me gives the thread a little nudge. Afternoon tea, anyone? I have Darjeeling, Earl Grey and good old Yorkshire tea, cucumber sandwiches, fairy cakes (no laughing at the back there) and chocolate eclairs. The string quartet will be striking up in a genteel manner at three o'clock precisely.

I forgot to read the fine print. The contract was written in blood and got all smeary... :(

On the bright side, maybe this means I can get out of a tedious family obligation IRL and instead play on the forums. Mac, please come explain this to my family - they seem confused about this new game I am playing and its forum obligations! Thanks!

Good morning threadies far and near! I've been out of touch for the past two days due to RL craziness, so I am hunkering down to review all the posts I have missed. Let the "response posts" begin! :D

Maybe I can make up for the slow leak, lol. :p

However, I did notice that you're providing afternoon tea, Skell...I would love some Darjeeling and a chocolate eclair for breakfast. :)

I mean, think about it...look at the recipe:
Pate a Choux
One cup whole milk
One-half cup unsalted butter
One-half teaspoon sugar
One-half teaspoon salt
Four large eggs
Two-thirds cup flour

Pastry Cream
One cup whole milk
Six tablespoons sugar
Six and one half teaspoons cornstarch
Four large egg yolks
One teaspoon vanilla extract

Chocolate Icing
One cup dark chocolate, finely chopped
One-half cup heavy cream

eggs - protein
milk and cream - calcium and some more protein
chocolate, sugar, flour and vanilla - vegetables

So thank you for providing a healthy start to my day, Skell! :p

You know those old fashioned drills? The ones that you turned by hand? If you gave one of those to a guy with really shaky hands and a blindfold on, and had him start slowly drilling into the side of my skull, right behind my temple, I think it would actually be a more pleasant experience than what I'm dealing with right now.

I think it may be sinus pressure plus some sort of stress-induced muscle tension from my neck.

Other than that, things are great! lol - seriously, I was just thinking this morning that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel on a number of projects that have been crushing me, and it's going to feel so good to have them done and out of my hair! The weekend is coming up and the weather is supposed to clear up. Life is pretty good.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hope you are feeling better by now, Trout...

Who is it that comes from the shadows and leaves destruction in his wake?

Rocks tremble at his passing...
the moon veils her face in fear,
the very night recedes before him
Knowing Death stalks near.

No new day will dawn for someone whose soul he will choose to take.

Macphisto walks the darkness-
Fear for pity's sake.

:)

VERRRY NICE. /me shivers

You will have to consult Luc for the pics - he handles all my publicity. And has been key in my religious education.

This place is kind of scary. I feel the presence of etiquette, rules, and forum moderation. :O

welcome in, Arilynn. :D
