Another gold for Britain! 4th in the table (when it's ranked by golds, that is).
3rd now! Wow, eight golds in two days. About time we had something to smile about WRT sporting prowess. It's been a long time since Redgrave, Pinsent & Cracknell et al got their medals.

Amusing, though, that we excel at sports that involve lots of water - sailing, rowing, swimming - given the average weather here lately ;)

Did you miss all of Sarah's NIN stuff at SLU the past month???

I saw a bunch of stuff about taking pictures with a NIN poster, and even took one. Its somewhere, the picture. But information about the party itself I missed. ((to be perfectly honest, I probably missed information about the party thinking that it was yet another thread about taking pictures with NIN; what were there, two threads? one here and one there; then group notice(s); also I tend to stick to the threads I've already talked in and only rarely going forth and reading the first 2 or 3 pages of threads on the new page at there; here I am lucky if I remember to look at the whole first page when I feel like reading))

Lucky you. It's unseasonally cold and pishing down here. If I didn't need to get food in having been away a few days, I'd stay indoors in the warm and watch the Olympics til my eyes bleed.

As we seen to be posting "what I did yesterday piccies:

I played with the 2002 kid avvie, an took some "retro" piccies. This piccie was based on a 2003 era SL promotional shot, originally featuring Stellar Sunshine.


Here's one out by the ol' pool at the Gov's mansion, using 1.19 for that pre-Windlight sky


I also took some in the moden era. I was 'specially proud of the way this one came out
