have I been reduced to this?

I have a 4096 m^2 garden that I would love to make open to pretty much anyone who wants to enjoy it, but I've found that I have to keep my banlines (or acess lines, whatever) up pretty much 24/7 because of one of the cool "toys" that I own. It's a cherry tree with a (physical) swing hanging from it, and I've found that if you twist the swing at a weird angle, it goes flying off of the tree and off of my land.

Now, I have no problem with anyone coming in, exploring, poking about, or playing with my swing (or my other toys), but the last time I left my parcel open, I got about 50 messages along the lines of "can't move object "swing seat" to blah blah blah" (in other words, someone was playing with the swing and making it fly off into the distance).

Even this, I could overlook or ignore, but when the swing lands on someone else's property that has "object entry" allowed, it stays there, until I come to pick it up or it's autoreturned. In other words, by leaving my parcel open to everyone, I end up inadvertently littering my neighbor's land.

So how to be polite to my neigbors (by lowering the unsightly ban lines) without being impolite (littering)?

I think it's actually SUPPOSED to work that way... it has something to do with the swing being "physical" as to have realistic movement.
That is a good idea, though, thank you, I'll contact the creator of the item once the grid is back up and see if there's something I can do.

The point is not the building but the impropriety of the offending av's behavior after being asked to stop.

Bottom line, you CAN do something about the Builds, you Can't do anything about how Other people behave, so change what you Can.
