From: Gillian Waldman You're making this too hard Find a couple blogs (several listed here) and read about things before you buy. It's just like real life in that way. I actually read and searched for different blogs over last 4 months even prior to joining. Those two blogs in themselves perhaps its my computer I can't even find one male fashion item or even find whatever it is you mentioned. Majority of them are all geared towards women or those who pay to be promoted. There supposively less women who are actually members in Second Life then why is everything geared towards female fashion? I just will be careful where I shop. I suggest others do the same especially if you're new like me. In long run I just got to point I realize they may want my money but I am just going to just start saying No thank I am not buying anything any more. I may have to avoid going to certain shops.

You could also try searching SLexchange for items. Even if you prefer to buy the item in world, you may find reviews or comments from existing owners that will help you decide. This is particularly useful for very expensive items or scripted items that you can not 'see' in world like a textured prim type item.

From: FD Spark Those two blogs in themselves perhaps its my computer I can't even find one male fashion item or even find whatever it is you mentioned. I know of at least one fashion blog for men : http://www.second-man.com/And also a column in PxP : http://pixelpinuponline.com/manfactoryAlso, pop in "Adam and Eve" (the store in-world). They have items for both male and female avatars. They have a freebie bag in which you'll find a pair of prim shoes for men. They are of a standard size, so you'll be able to tweak your shape while wearing these, to fit most shoes.

thanks for information. Before I joined I spent months mouth watering and looking for hours and hours at SLexchange. When I joined that was where I first spent my money. Then I went wondering around bit realized some of the things I had paid for there were given as away as freebies. Strange thing about those shoes I just bought that are all backwards and had weird experience with owner is I met new male friend who was wearing the identical pair that I had bought that looked like the same shoes advertised but looked right it was entirely a different designer or mall name. I tried to teleport to shop but it didn't work for some reason. I plan to go back and check it out later and see if its same designer. My feet are set at lowest setting still same issue.
