Screw all the age of consent bullshit. You are right it is wrong according to the law. However it is only wrong if the guy knows her age. I suggest you tell a linden her name and that she is a teen they will handle it from there. Question I have is ...What are you doing here?? Your post tells me you are a teen with a maingrid toon or you are an adult with a teen grid toon either way you are wrong too. I can only hope you are not an adult on the teen grid wanting your 16 year old back.

Just a quick question....I thought that the teens had their own forums and were unable to post on the MG forums?

I'm getting deja vu again ... or is it the first lot still?

Are we in for another multi-page saga on the same old teens in the main grid shock-horror? Jeez the media must be lapping this up.

... and then feel crap about it when you find out they were abducted and murdered by some wierdo on the internet, knowing FULL WELL that you could have prevented it happening by doing something very simple.

Whatever you - or others - think of the situation, the fact still remains that a 16 year old has no place on the adult grid. Period. That cannot be overcome by any amount of personal interpretation.

The grids are kept separate for very good reasons.

Indy, I'm no fan of Kyrahs Flip answers to things but that last comment was really Uncalled for. I think you Owe him an Apology.

And Kyrah, it's Too bad you don't understand that being a GOOD friend to someone Doesn't mean Giving them everything they want. Sometimes a Good friend will Take away the Car Keys and sit on you when you are too drunk to Drive. a True friend Looks Out for you Even when you yourself are convinced you have everything under control.

I'd Rather have One friend who's telling me i'm being an Idiot, than a Thousand who would stand by and let me be Hurt, or Killed. I might resent it for a Moment, But in the Long run, i KNOW which i would Value More.

Angel.

*shrugs* My mother was 15 when she married a 24 year old man. Unless you think she's really in danger from him, I'd say let her your friend make her own choices. If being under 18 makes her too immature to make decisions for herself, what gives you the right to make those decisions for her, since you are also under 18?

He has every right to try and help her think. He's her friend. That's what friends do. Real friends do anyway.

You seem to be missing the point that SL is for those aged 18 and over. Not 16 because you want to be here.

You must tell the Lindens and have her moved to the teen grid.

Kyrah, unless you yourself are under age, I don't understand your comments in this thread.

If someone's self-admitted they're underage, yes, they should be on the Teen Grid. We have a Knowledge Base article explaining how to do this:

I had submitted the thread to Linden Review, as I wasn't sure how to handle this situation. Please post on topic Chri5.

Age of consent
01-04-2007 22:49
just cause your 16 dose not mean yo can have sex with a 25 year old. means if another 16 year old has sex with you its ok. All 50 states if a 16 year old has sex with any one over 18 the police see that as rape. And this is a bump.

Is that so, thats why the senator Kenedy, who had sex wth his 16 yo babysitter never got arrested for that, and the case made national headlines. Besides other countries have lower age limits for consentual sex. not to mention the fact that if my great grandma didnt give birth at 13, i wouldnt be here, then again life expentancy back then was like 25. But seriously what makes it moraly ok for an 18 yo to have sex with a 70 yo, but not ok for a 16yo and a 25 yo? and this thread has over 3 pages wow. Dont you people have anything better to do, than cockblock some dude you dont even know, karma will take care of him, and if not then he has done nothing wrong.

She is 16. Main Grid is 18 and over. She , not he, is breaking the Terms Of Service. A lot of posters here just can't get their heads round that simple fact. That's why this has trolled onto three pages!
