Does anyone know a workaround to correctly display Pants???
It either it looks like this...
Or Like this...
And it usually stays that way for hours...
*sigh my little guy needs to breathe ya know...???

I've tried everything.... changing pants, rebaking textures, right clicking appearance, and Nothing!! I cant get rid of my stupid ***Huggers.
Does anyone know a workaround to correctly display Pants??? It either it looks like this... Or Like this... And it usually stays that way for hours... *sigh my little guy needs to breathe ya know...??? _____________________

Have you tried the appearance slider and loosen them up that way? If you can't it might be the pants are no modify and you need to make new pair.

This may sound odd, but I had this issue before a few clients back. I found that the only 2 things that worked was hovering your mouse directly over the pants....suddenly the pants would appear normal. Sometimes it took a good 30 seconds, but it seems to speed rendering. The other way is to hold your alt button down and press either right or left arrow key to pan your camera 360 degrees around you...this also tends to speed rendering for some odd reason.

I am glad you figure it out, here is hoping you're not sterile we need more non white avatars in SL.
I mean they no problem having us as friends in first life or know of us but in Second Life non white avatars are about as rare as snake avatars.  wink wink (a none white person won't get this.) Some white people even are experts on us |

Go to Appearance, Open the sliders for pants, adjust the ones for length, and Width, there is also ones to Loosen the pants around the Bottom, Crotch, snd thighs.

I have seen this phenomenon also..and it's not just pants, it shirts and jackets too. And, also, occasionally, the clothing will render with some oddball texture or a portion of my screen for a texture. Not sure, what's going on with it; but, my Mistress is annoyed with it too as I appear to be afflicted with Missing Image syndrome.

I've seen the "suddenly everything is form-fitting" as well.
Wearing a diffferent outfit, then opening up the 'appearance' menu for about 10 seconds usually clears it up for me. |

Rebake. that'll fix it, generally. If not, pan your camera to the ground for a few seconds or so, and then turn your avatar to snap it back.

Rebaking, clearing cache etc etc. didn't work for me. I am running two Nvidia 7800's in SLI mode having the second card handle texture etc. It didn't like that. I just use one vid card and the problem is gone. Are you running SLI? If so turn off the second card and see what happens... that is if the problem re-appears as I see you have it solved.
