What are you looking for? Gor? Fantasy? Wild West? Sience Fiction?

One of the most famous and popular should be Avilion.

For the german users Carima is very active in the moment.

Let me guess, in a thread labeled water sports, you wouldn't expect surfing?

Not so big on roleplay though - doesn't matter what I do, what I am wearing etc, always me :)

Most definitely.

Be sure to use soft ropes, to avoid rope burns and bad scratching (Can drive you fricking crazy if stuck tied too long). Also, don't get too thin a rope, or you'll risk cutting off circulation rather easily, which is bad.

Always have scissors or a knife available, and never get yourself into a position where if you can't get out you are out of options. Keep a phone available with 911 or a trusted friend on speed dial.

Also, don't tie knots too tight against the skin, or you could again risk both rope burn or loss of circulation.

NEVER create a situation where here is a constricting loop around your neck unless you have someone THERE who is immediately able to free you, and even then you shouldn't.

There. Some helpful tips ;)

Thanks, I know them, that's why I knew, you knew them ;-)
That my profile is quite empty in the moment does not mean it always was. Just too many pseudos in SL regarding this.

A good guide to self bondage would be helpful for people who try this in SL and want to include some RL, any hints?

Basically the same as before, really. Keep strong scissors handy, and this time, also make sure that you can move your hands in a way that makes cutting the rope possible.

One thing that I learned not too long ago: DON'T FALL ASLEEP WHILE TIED!

It risks losing circulation which you may not know until it's too late and you can cause serious, lasting damage this way.

Also, if you're new to it, be sure to tie two or three knots against the skin. It allows a little more play room before the rope risks pinching your skin.

If you're going to be immobilizing yourself, keep the phone on the floor where you can push a button to dial 911 with your tongue if you have to.

Always remember, safety first. Learn your knots, if something feels wrong, don't do it, and don't try to dive into the deep end. You'll end up in an embarrassing position shouting for help and being found by your one uber-christian neighbour who used to love you, but will now be ashamed of you. That's just the way the world works.

ETA:: I'd post a link to a few technique guides for self bondage, but I think that would break the rules here a bit more than I'm willing to atm XD

The paste is usually horseradish and...something I can't think of...meh...

True wasabi is almost rare these days o.o

I assume you left out the most seemingly popular Sex roles.
I'm interested to see what comes next.
