We need a forum where I can discuss my future forum posts with people without messing it up for the people who believe every word I type. I love those people, they make me wet myself. eg/ "Lorna your proposals are good but I suspect LL won't implement all of them" HAHAHAHA! Oops, I didn't say that, please delete it.

I've heard that studies have shown that a certain percentage of the population is psychologically incapable of recognizing and understanding satire and sarcasm, no matter how obvious it may be to the rest of us. Threads like this prove it. I worked for someone like that for 5 years - which was rough becuase I can be pretty pessimistic and sarcastic. Not to give Brenda more ammunition but he was ------ a German. |

There's nowt wrong with the church of the flying spaghetti monster. I once had sex with a jelly fish in SL - and I understand that he was over age. Everything just went black but he was happy. |

Dearly Darlings,
A very worthy satire. My little loves, all this would be fixed if LL would just give in and make me Dictator..... You all have a lovey day! Ever Yours, Mrs. Showdog Tiger _____________________

I would like to see RL politics and RL religions kept out of SL. Well the politics is definitely here: Spanish Political parties clash in Second Life “They have thrown bombs, entered the building with submachine guns, lit fires, everything you could imagine,” an official from Spain’s ruling Socialist Party, using the Second Life moniker Zeros Kuhm, told Reuters. Good grief does that count as extreme violence? Integrity will be knocking on their doors alright. |

as long as it is not an ageplaying centipede. ![]() Wikipedia on this: It takes about 3 years for S. coleoptera to achieve adulthood, however, like millipedes, centipedes are relatively long-lived when compared to their insect cousins, the European Lithobius forficatus can live for 5 or 6 years. Does this mean centipedes will never qualify to see adult content, or should we have seperate rules for centipedes, allowing them in from the age of 3? |

Thats why we need to shun Hippies and make a new rule keeping them out of SL. What's wrong with hippies? Usually they are nice people, unless 'hippie' has a different meaning in SL that I haven't cottoned on to yet! |

I've just foreseen a possible outcome if SL make in-world revelation of RL identity compulsory.
At the moment SL has the lead over other 'world' games in most aspects and has a good chance of keeping that lead. But others will probably come along and one day there might be a credible challenger. If that challenger offers in-world anonymity but SL doesn't, that could hit SL hard. Lorna - I prefer it when you talk in binary because then I don't have to reply! |

If the anomymity goes, the trend will be for people to come in-world either as themselves with avatars that attempt to resemble their real appearances, or as total fantasy avatars like robots, aliens or furries.
