... regarding tinkering with the sizes of Linden trees, I know that you have to play with all three figures in order to grow or shrink them to the full extent. It may not seem intuitive but if you embiggen the x and y values, the trees will get taller (as well as wider and longer). I haven't tried growing palms but when I'm inworld later I'll play around with them. ...

Indeed that works. I don't understand why some tree types are much bigger than the palm trees can be, though.

What I'd like to know is, is there any chance of them adding more trees to the library anytime soon? The only oak tree I've seen in there is a fall tree, and I'd love to see a green oak. Maybe a few other Midwestern-type trees. How about it, Eric? Pleeeeease? :)

It is a shame they decided to never implement SpeedTree into the client.

I'll second the green oak tree,more trees in general.

How about making available just the crown and branches of the existing trees for making larger and different shaped trees?Also it would be nice to have textures that match the bark of the various Linden made trees.

Haha. Weren't we meant to be getting a full tree-generating feature 2 years ago?
