Ok can understand how newbies can arrive at the welcome area. Take verbal abuse from the irresponsible types. Then go build a couple of wooden cubes in the sandbox, get bored and never login again.
The rest of us have sufficent imagination to explore SL fully and enjoy it for what it realy is.

Well obviously there are worse websites, but if one is talking about MMOG virtual worlds I would have to say yes, in terms of performance problems it is among the 5 worst out there. That's not a complaint, just an observation. I've played a lot of traditional MMOG and MMORPG games and used to complain about lag and crashing on some of them until I came to SL.
Now when I play those games I never complain about performance problems because they simply pale in comparison to those of SL.
That being said, a lot of SL's problems probably come from the fact that it is coded to allow player creation of virtual world content which none of those other games do and since there is no other virtual world that allows players to do what SL does I am in it.....for now.

I actualy kinda had fun with meez.com so i'm gonna make a little guy for my webpage hehe. In all honesty when i read these negative review things I often find a new toy I had never heard about. I know i'm supposed to hate this stuff but well I guess it doesn't work so hot on me. Meez.com got a sign up as a result of me reading that 5 worste site article ^^
