From: Jig Chippewa Just scanned through htis and I jus wonder if it is really any of our business to comment upon the infrastructure of teh company. The direction that LL takes affects the way SL is. We get very little info about where SL is really going, and each personality represents a direction and an influence. If we had more real information, we'd have less scope for imagination.

From: SuezanneC Baskerville It just came up in my endless surfing. Something led me to Prok's blogging and Massively's story on Cory's departure.
Hmmm, Prok has blogged that a senior Linden will return to the fold.

From: Jig Chippewa Yeah but (all cheekiness aside) they're "suits" - they just cant be cool however hard they try. It's neat of them to be there for us but its suit-time when they speak. *laughs* Babe, Cory was teh coolest of the kewl. There's a whole world out there about which you seemingly know little - know this, then: Cory and Philip were high-tech rock stars. Cory was the coding magician, and Philip the wide-eyed visionary. And unlike music rock stars, that means that in addition to lots of adulation and plenty of cash, they had real power in the world to affect how many many people lived their lives day to day. They were at the same table as Steve Jobs. That's SOME cool. .

From: Ceka Cianci Who's Cory again? *BOGGLES* Part of the geek pantheon. Among other things, he designed LSL.

Sadly, neither Cory's nor Phillip's take on where LL should go has relevance anymore. M has decided on HIS direction and that's that.
