ok I guess it would be important with all these links i was sent today.. how do i transport to them? do I type them in someplace? They are probably SLURLs, if you click the link, it will open a web page, click that and TP in (or it will open SL and you can then log directly to that place). If you are in SL already, the TP message will come up. Not much about bits specifically in the tutorial, but you can get them while shopping for the clothes and skins. And, you'll have to get used to, uh... removing said winky when you are fully dressed if you don't want to be flashing everyone. The Free Republic and Sarah Nerds have freebie winkies. |

By the way:
The best way to get free stuff is to have a female avatar. A short, cute one, with an empty profile, and some well-known freebie clothes, but not one of the n00b avatars because you want people to think you're trying. And have trouble moving around. This works even if your avatar has a "male" name. _____________________

Spike, listen carefully, if anyone sends you a bite request (a blue popup dialog with a request to be bitten), they are trying to co-opt you into playing a game called Bloodlines which is a pyramid type scheme masquerading and claiming itself to be a roleplaying/combat game. Once bitten you lose your soul which means being put into a database you never signed up to for who knows what further purposes later on. Do not fall for this, simply press the "No" button when you encounter it.
If tempted to actually play Bloodlines remember this one simple fact: like in a pyramid scheme only the first handful and most the prolific players are going to be able to advance to the point where they are effectively safe from the predation of others. You will never be one of them and you will along the way have spent many L$ before you might otherwise realise this. Roleplaying a vamp might sound sexy and fun - indeed it can be but you definitely do not need to play Bloodlines nor pay for anything to achieve this (except possibly to buy a good pair of fangs )Hope this helps VV |

If you are scared of a guy showing you to the freebie places.... lol BTW I can check my inventory and see if i have a winky you can have for free. Definitely go to Lindal's class on friday.
