I became a premium member more recently, and have typically received the L$300 weekly stipend.

This morning, I received a L$500 stipend instead.

Anyone else have this minor surprise? Or should I consider this as most likely the first billing glitch that SL will "fix" in a prompt manner?

...now i see at my transaction history that i lost 1000 L$ by System. At Type there is noted: Renewal. Can anyone tell me, what does it mean? I only bought some clothes for 200 lindens.and that i can see too.

Interesting, I got L$500 too.

Hmm well first stipends since the 1.15 update, isn't it? Maybe when they deleted the ratings they accidentally deleted some other flags that determined who got what stipend level, now everyone gets L$500.

If it is a bug, it's not like we'll have a choice on whether or not we 'give it back', its their database after all.

They should keep it at L$500 as it will give them more premium account holders

I stopped advising people I meet to go premium when they reduced stippends.
If we get public confirmation that they will be 500 again I will again recommend premium accounts.

It certainly improves the incentive for people to go Premium.... especially as there is no First Land anymore.

Stipend day allways used to be one of my busiest days business wise, but that has not been the case for the last 6 months. But today, sales are going crazy and this explains why.

$200 is nowhere near enough to make me change my mind about downgrading. i spend 10x that much a week just renting stalls.

Not really.

This is funny. Just yesterday I started figuring out how much rent I could pay if I drop Premium and sell my land. Now I get to re-figure it. The sad thing is I don't even spend all my stipend.
