I've used Slexchange.com in a pinch since their rate is not as favorable.

i cashed out both on my first time to see who would be faster and SLexchange was 3 days and SL took 7 days..
i'm sure it jumps around..i had 200 US on slexchange and only 36.00 US on sl..
i guess it works by them selling your lindens or something..i haven't messed with it alot.

I submitted mine on a Tuesday only to have a friend submit one the following Monday. We both got our money that Friday. Yes, nearly 2 weeks for mine, and only 4 days for my friend.

LL is seriously slacking on this. They let the list fill up, then send someone to do it as a friday project because they "HAVE" to.

Two of my last three PayPal cashouts were completed at 20:27 and 22:02 PDT respectively and a phone call in between confirmed that LL is working overtime to process these so until they can hire more people we will just have to endure long process times. Different people are doing different requests and I suspect that the working speed of individuals accounts for the variance we see in different process times. I got my 18 April request before my 17 April request.

Been waiting for one since the 24th. Not too bad yet. Still over the 0 to 5 day business window that they say it will be done in. They need to get realistic and be honest here and change that to say 1 to 2 weeks on that page cause thats as fast as they are going to do them.

Waiting for 12+ days

I put in a request for withdraw by Paypal on May 3rd and still have not seen the money. In my opinion it's completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I have a business account at Paypal and any withdraw I request should be automatic and NOT need any manual intervention. Reeks of LL using the funds to make money off the interest or to somehow pad the numbers.

Doesn't give someone new a whole lot of faith in the company/platform as a whole when offshore casinos and other seedy companies process withdraws in a fraction of the time. For the record, this is the longest I've ever waited for any Paypal withdraw in five years of having a Paypal account. Congradulations LL!

I have waited more than the stated 5 business days ONCE...

...that ONE time I called Linden Labs on the 6th day and provided them with a transaction number. Within 20 minutes, my money was transferred.

I have the exact same experience as Kenn, only once over 5 days, and after an email it was tranfered within the hour.

I'm a little curious, and I don't want to start any conspiracy theories, but I'm interested to know if the people who are complaining that they wait longer are premium or concierge residents as I am both (and I suspect Kenn is too) and have never had issues. Do they give these resident's payouts priority?

I'd never fathom wasting the time or energy making a phone call to prompt something they are well aware of already. I just quit doing business with places that have no sense of urgency in returning my funds in a time that equals that in which they will take it. There wasn't any 12 day delay in me paying for a quarter of meaningless Premium account out of my Paypal, but then again, I'm only a new resident with disposable income to blow, so why try and make every effort to appease me?

Yes, I am a premium and concierge member. That's an interesting point to bring up.

You're obviously not very accustomed to doing business in the United States. If I went by this standard, I wouldn't do business with 95% of companies I've encountered.

Paypal is an online payment system that can be untilized effeciently by taking out any human intervention. Payments can be made without any employee approval or processing and so can and should withdraws. That's only if a company chooses to allow that functionality and courtesy to their customers.

Why some, or any for that matter, choose not to allow this is baffling to me. Any companies online who give me the impression they're delaying a withdraw of mine to make money off the float or is too severly understaffed to manage the companies basic functions won't tend to see much of my money in the future.

I'm not asking for any type of refund. This system should be constructed to allow the free flow of funds in AND out of SL to be considered even semi-legitimate.

One word: RISK

It is simple a matter of human intervention to stop the immediate withdrawal of illgotten gains.

Well, I've only be waiting two business days. But considering my previous process credits a few months ago were denied because I purchased Lindens on eBay like an idiot from someone I didn't know was selling stolen Lindens - we'll see what happens. I'd really prefer not to get my account banned and my process credit denied this time - especially since I earned all these Lindens my pretty little self.

If you don't hear from me in this thread again - I expect they've banned me again for god knows what reason and taken all my poor cash away. (Oh, let's see if the reason this time is "you said you were selling off everything you owned in protest of the age verification plan - therefore you were leaving anyway and what are you going to do? Sue us?";)

If only I had remembered SLExchange (smacks forhead).

I'm almost up to 5 business days for mine :)

I find the norm is 7-10 business days, personally.
