hey guys ever heard about the words.. planning, scheduling? we all know now it takes days so plan on this instead of whining well that was kinda uncalled for its supposed to take 5 business days when people wait longer they ask just in case something to lost I know I do my typing sucks if there is a delay in the system then I dont worry about it however if everyone who submitted a request the same time I do got their funds then its very likely that i messed up something on my end or maybe paypal messed something up and I should check now go flame elsewhere okay? rofl some people |

I cash out every week and it usually takes the 5 business days but call the minute it exceeds that. Billing will look at the specific transaction and get it expedited if it is over 5 business days. I have never had a problem after calling and usually see the transaction within a few hours of calling.

well putting an information like "5-10 business days" instead of 0-5 would save a lot of anger..... besides the fact that the process is just some bytes of automated server action ..... i have worked 3 months pretty hard for my money so i really have a reason to be pissed..... for me there is no reason for that action. two days are also enough to pass some security checks if needed. i also wonder why a direct debit to my country costs damn 15$ and takes 15 business days, while paypal can manage this for 0$ in 4-5 days. for me thats a prove for linden pushing your money around for some days to get extra cash with it.... and for the flamer: plan a 0-10 days time for a process in your rl business and you are out of the ring within seconds..... spare your (sorry) dumb comments on that!

In the past month all of my withdrawals have ranged from 12 hours to 4 business days. I have only ever waited past the 5 days once, one hour after 5 business days had passed I emailed billing, got the money within hours.

I have often wondered if they prioritise the larger requests over the smaller ones. I cash out whenever I exceeed 1K USD and have never waited for more than 3 business days. Maybe the speed is determined by the amount?

Well instead of cashing out several times a week, why dont people just cash out once a month or so?
It would def. decrease the number of cash out requests and they will be processed faster.. |

Maybe the speed is determined by the amount? Your hunch is correct. My largest transfers are already processed. The smaller ones are still waiting. They are not done strictly in chronological order. _____________________

It took six business days for the last one.
I typically sell off L$12K or so at once when I do a cash out. So I don't know why an earlier poster indicated that selling "Over L$10K" might be an issue. Now, I suppose if your transaction history doesn't appear to have sales that support that kind of volume, a sudden sale of L$10K or more might trigger a risk assessment check on you. But it depends a lot on your documantable cash flow. If a certain Land Baroness were to cash out her L$ excess, and was restricted to doing her sales in lumps of L$10K or less, she'd likely have to do it several times a day. In general, the Risk Assessment API is for person to person transferrs of huge sums, and for sale or purchase of huge sums on third party services. If you're using Lindex to buy and sell, you may not always get the best rate, but LL has full details of where it came from and where it is going, so I would imagine that they get less jumpy about large transactions there. Consider this: In cashing out in one sale of L$10K versus ten sales of L$1K, the smaller sales require paying LL ten seperate processing fees. At least in terms of the PayPal transfer to my bank, that is a difference of $9 USD in fees, or over L$2,600 wasted by cashing out in ten smaller payments. _____________________

Put in a request on the 20th, just got it. Much faster this time.
Thanks LL! Ceera, I suspect the $10,000 they were refering to was USD, not $L. _____________________

My largest transfers are already processed. The smaller ones are still waiting. They are not done strictly in chronological order. huh, that's good to know. I guess I'll start waiting longer between cash-outs, to let my balance build up a bit more. _____________________
