Looked like it was being sucked down through the sand...then poof. Attempts to rez it from the L & F result in a brief flickering hologram of a pink flamingo. And then...it vanishes. I hope he's happy on his new planet. _____________________

I had a sailboat the shot off about 100metres westwards the instant I rezzed it.
I suppose that if I had done that at the edge of the world or East of a hill, it would have gone offworld/underground-offworld. It happened to be copy, so I got anothe copy out of the box and deleted the rogue copy. Otherwise, I'd have rezzed it in a large-enough sandbox and tried resetting the scripts in it. _____________________

My zooby cat, Airie, went off world once, for a minute but guess he didn't like it there, came running right back. On the other hand, I had an object, Avatar detector; it told you when an avatar was within a certain distance; you didn't wear it though, it lived on your land. I tried to 'take' it into my inventory but I was a cloud at the time, and possibly that had something to do with it. It never arrived in my inventory but I got a message it went off world. It came back, several months later, banged up and broken. Script no longer worked. Something happened to it while it was gone, it had obviously been experimented on. It never recovered, and I eventually was forced to delete it...... |

I tried the Kirsten Lee S18 viewer last night...
The shadows were really cool! But I had to turn them off when sitting under the shade of a big tree. The leaves blowing in the breeze created a huge load for my graphics card. It was game, but its frame rate for shadow updates went down to like 3-4 per second and made my head hurt. Then I walked over to the other side of our parcel and...the land there was gone! Or at least invisible...I could walk on the water that appeared to be flooding our side yard. So I shook my fist at the aliens and logged back in on Snowglobe. Whew, all better. _____________________
It's still My World and My Imagination! So there.

Oh, these events are so sad! Milla and Treasure - I feel for you, I really do!
Tex - not every dolphin left. I still have two left from the pod, and they are very sad without their brother. I have warned them very strongly that they must never jump near the edge of the continent, but I must get in world as soon as possible and check my parrot and humming birds are still ok. _____________________

OMG, it all makes sense now! And to think I had blamed the evil neighbors on our sim for the disappearance of Secret the Squirrel. One day he was rezzing his own nuts (please--this is a PG forum) and eating them (still PG folks) and the next he was :: sniff :: GONE! I was convinced he had been stewed in some Deliverance-esque fashion and served to an inbred family of mountain people. I am now, however, convinced that he is alive, probably caged, and being subjected to horrifying experimental inter-species breeding with flamingos, cranes and the like.
Thank you...for allowing me to finally put the pieces of this disturbing puzzle together into an even more disturbing mosaic. _____________________

several items I've rezzed recently don't show up inworld (but the scripts respond, DOH!) fortunately I was in a sandbox at the time so they came back eventually...
so they are not only be sucked into the vortex, but some of them are even being intercepted before they can get inworld!!! hyperspace piracy I tell ya! _____________________
