From: Teeny Leviathan I haven't thought of Benshees in ages. I recall thinking "Is this it?" After all the hype, I was a bit disappointed. That was LL preparing us for future "Is this is?" disappointments from them.

From: Pie Psaltery 1.2 for me, just missing out on the oppurtunity to be a prim-hog and logging into a world that wasnt even 100 sims big.
Anyone still have their Benshee Rezzer Braclet from the first year annivesary gift? Mine is horrible broken now and the Benshees wont go away when you take the braclet off.
Anyone remember Logathon 5000 where we were PAID to try to get 5000 residents logged in at the same time to test the client's scalabity? O wait, stpaulsub does, but it wasnt called Lagalpaloza then, tho it should have been a sign of things to come. I still have my Benshee Rezzer but I'm scared to try it now.

I feel like such a noob now...jeez. 1.10 or 1.11 under my original account I think. I remember the unlucky 1.13, yikes what a mess! At the time I thought it couldn't get any worse than that....

From: Isablan Neva I don't ever really have problems either, beyond small stuff.... Yea, the small in-world stuff like Prim Drift happens. Nothing major otherwise (knock on plywood). It's either Luck, knowing your computer, or just having a monster of a machine. From: ramon Kathari i love this idea .... i started stabbing at them ,so hopefully i'll be on the beach soon, ill make sure i bring you one of your favorite coconut drinks Yinz cant go dahn to the beach!! Too sunny & bright for Picksburghers

I started in 1.6.something and shortly afterwards it went to 1.7. I remember 1.7 as being just awful. The colors were all messed up and things would change to bizzare hues during sunset and rise. Nighttime was just plain ugly and it was before force sun. Everyone was totally gray most of the time and never baked at all. I almost quit. But 1.8 came along just in time.

If I were to guess, Cory decided that just wasn't scalable? From: Chip Midnight Likewise. I think I still have the paper cups and string.

Must have been 1.2. (jan 2004 as well!)
Memories of invisible cubes and the animation "motorcycle_sit" being disturbingly popular...
Oh yeah and the "noisy nipple ring" which listened for spoken commands to activate default animations/poses which weren't available in the interface (pre-gestures, etc).
No parcel based music...
no ring or tube prims, no prim hair (none that looked decent that I recall)...
no search box for inventory (god that sucked!)...
attachments always caused me problems with teleports and sim crossings (it's so much better now than then, trust me)...
water was flat.
The world was around 50 regions in size, not 5000, and hours would pass before I saw anyone even wander by my humble home back then.
