Did you even READ the problems we're having? Earth to Regan, a faster computer on MY end won't cause me to not have asset creation failures, attachment failures, save failures, object inventory failures on THEIR end. Gratz, you've been on when there's 23k users! Try being on when there's 28k and see if you say the same thing. Your super whamodyne computer won't make a hills difference when the asset server or other back end components are choking to death on LL's end. Read the thread again, this is NOT about poor FPS. |

And again, I have very rarely had ongoing problems that render SL unplayable. When LL is closing down sims and restarting service, I'm kicked off with everyone else. But I spend most of my time in SL building, and I don't experience the list of issues that you noted. I used 23K as an example, but yes, I have been online with numbers above that, and it just doesn't make that much difference, certainly not to the level of that other residents have experienced. Mind you, I don't have a super gaming rig either, but it is comfortably above the marginal level of system requirements. The variability in performance issues heavily implies that there are many factors that are beyond LL's control to improve. |

to quote a word in another thead and the reason I am not ingame now (sl is severaly broken today) "whine". There is no one to give us info from what I can see and people are being very quiet today in LL not sure why? hehe no grid updates since last night nothing works no lindens in the linden villages to answer questions like there were supposed to be (the reason for closing the linden answer forum) no one to ask anything its empty and there is an echo so I can only do one thing whine .. cause aint no information out there or any question answers .. so yeah I'm whining  its the 30k people logged in probably should not bother to even try after the population his like 21k logins the browser on the start up screen isn't even able to update the number any longer... |
