I was all eager to see my first stipend yesterday( Tuesday) after upgrading to premium..but nothing

is it normal? I'm not talking about the 1000 lindens ( I know that I have to wait 45 days for that) only about the 300L...

When did you upgrade? I think it has to have been at least 7 days before you're eligible for the stipend. If it has been, submit a ticket through the Support Portal.

When did you upgrade?

If I recall correctly, I had to wait a complete stipend cycle (Tues-Tues) to get my first stipend. So if you upgraded last Wed, you may need to wait until next Tues.

Not sure how LL does the dispersing.

When I upgraded I received mine with hours the 1000 and part of a full week think it was 250 until the following Tues then 300??

I couldn't find anything specific in the Knowledge Base regarding when stipends start, but I'm fairly certain my friends and I had to wait until the Tuesday following the 7 day mark. If you're really concerned, submit a ticket and ask...one of the perks of Premium membership.

Edit: OK, Nisa, I KNOW that's not normal. The Knowledge Base says this:

*Assuming your credit card hasn't been declined, you will receive your signup bonus 45 days after your signup date.

Missing Stipend?

How would I know if it didn't come in? Would it be listed in transaction history or where? I joined and paid 1 July. 3 July was Tues last and the 10 was yeaterday, so I have over a full week. I wasn't sire if I'd see the $300L first and weekly and then the $1000L later on - ther Knowledge base isn't totally clear.

And yeah - I'm that new. :>

I just found it! It's under 'Your Account', 'Transaction History', tell it to show yesterday's date. That's actually a nice feature. I can track anything I purchased as a cash item or a freebie and who I got it from.

That's one of the reasons I don't put money into SL anymore (Disappearing inventory items and LL's embracing of landbots and ad land cutters being the others). Aren't you glad you upgraded to premium?

Tickets usually take a few days, unless you get very VERY lucky. Did you try Live Chat? It's at the end of the Solution Finder steps...just pick/type in random stuff to get the continuation buttons.

Linden Lab has not embraced landbots, ad farms, or anyone or anything else for that matter. Such things simply don't violate the Terms of Service. Nothing prevents someone from lobbying Linden Lab regarding a particular issue, however, it's unlikely that they would do so solely on the basis of meeting the demand of a resident who isn't paying for the product.

And why should one start paying for that free beer, knowing that when one pays for it, it's still going to taste exactly like the free beer? It's not like there's a 'members only' beer that runs down the throat smoother and with a taste that makes the angels sing.

Besides, it's not like the company is paying attention to it's paying customers either!
