Sounds like a 'newbie' cage, instead of tping home and back again, use camera zoom to look 'outside' the cage and choose 'sit here' on an object closeby, or even the cage itself. You will be free in a few seconds.

There are 'devices' that can 'remove' a cage, but this falls under the heading 'my gun is bigger than your gun!.... Oh yeah, well my Dad is bigger than .....'.

hehe yeah i couldn't he did it in a 10x10 shack was kinda cramped anyhow yeah this guy has a cage inside his small house...

he wanted to sell me drugs and I said no thanks so then he just wanted money and i said no and then he did the cage thingy and by the time he followed me home he was pelting me with melons and cages and.. anyhow was to hard no where to target really ..

Oddly enough, English made the same distinction in historical times, with "thou" and "ye", and then lost it. And in French the distinction between "tu" and "vous" has evolved away from number into an expression of social relationships ... and so on. Chacun a son gout.

American Southern English does have this distinction. Earlier, it was this:

You - you singular
Y'all - you plural

However, Y'all later became a more polite, indirect way of addressing the other party without being too personal, which led to the following:

You - you singular
Y'all - you, polite informal and nonpersonal
All y'all - you plural

For example,

"If y'all're willin, all y'all can come 'round Sat'day fer a mess o' ribs!"
"Thanks, might could!"

Translation:

"If you're interested, you and your friends could join me Saturday for barbecued pork."
"Thank you, we may do that."

FYI, an easy way to uncage is to pull up the big map and double-click near your location. Or, as mentioned above, try "sit here" on a nearby object outside the cage.

Any decent cage will not let you get away with this. You will get out for a moment, but the cage will then follow you and trap you at your new location.

TP-ing home is usually a sure-fire way of escaping cages. I think it works with all cages except for mine, heh-heh.

I was walking around in Svarga to find some nice places to make pictures (I love that place) as suddenly some person started to talk to me. It seemed a nice conversation. When I thought the conversation was over, I moved on… and sudden this person comes after me and drops a cage on me. On the IM's I did send that person there was no responce, so I decided to fill in an AR.

If it wasn't clear from some of the other posts, first make sure it's the same person. If there was some other action that made it obvious this person was caging you, then no problem. But if it seems wierd or out of character, it's usually easy enough to get the owner by inspecting or editing the cage.
