Have you ever wiped your land clean and started over?

I've wiped a number of parcels clean over the years.
Despite having a plan for a new build I have to admit to a slightly sick feeling as the objects poof. This could be something that I had built up from bare prims over months. The more fun I've had with friends in the builds, the harder it is. -- but keeping it there forever would be a trap.
It's a lot easier to do if the build incorporated a lot of prefab elements.
In case of any 'kick-in-the-stomach' feelings, remember the enjoyment of making it in the first place and think of the enjoyment to come.

It's wonderfully liberating In RL, we can't realistically tear down and start anew. I'd love tp be able to create structures like that in RL.

I've carefully packed everything into a rezzbox, re-rezzed it all to make sure. Written down the coords of the rezbox into a notecard put into that box, hit the de-rezz button, and plopped it into inventory.

A couple of times with different sub-builds at various elevations.

Not long ago, right before taking my semi-break from logging in, I found one of these boxes floating in the air in the middle of nowhere... and found a full on old version of my store layout hiding inside.

Probably going to do this again on a big scale when I get back, as I'm thinking of taking on a very different sort of project than in past.

I even whiped clean a whole sim once, never regretted it, everytime it comes out better.
at this very moment I'm whiping 1/4 sim parcel to change the roleplay theme on it.
nothing feels as good as tearing it all down.

How many variations of trees to pee on are there? When you've created one set, you've done them all.

It wasn't just trees.

I'll have you know there was a fire hydrant there too. ;)

The deed is now done. Fortunately the main build was a skybox I had built myself, but I had since boxed it up with the idea of offering it as a freebie ('cause it was kind of a weird looking thing). So it will be easy to recreate if I ever want to.

I agree that it feels refreshing. Now I have to get busy learning Sculpt Studio to really pull off what I want to do with the space now. I have a feeling it's going to take a lot of time.

If you use rezzers, link things and record positions, you can have both what you have now and what you build.
Easily changeable too.

I do it all the time, no sweat, just make sure you save your builds and keep photos!

I used to have a full 15000 prim sim...changed it totally almost once a month. Now I rent a homestead and I do the same thing!
