This is really getting tiresome. What on earth is the point anymore?

Constantly losing this, constant problems with that, it seems to keep increasing.

Another week, hell, another couple of days of this and I'll take my time and money and devote it to something a little more, well, functional.

They just said in world they are having network issues with their datacenter in texas.

Yeah I agree but so far SL seems the best bet for a virtual community.

I do have an attachment to it but that doesn`t mean im not keeping my eye open for elsewhere.

If its network issue LL probably shouldn't be the blame for it. Blame a backhoe, or, like happened a few years ago in Minneapolis, some transients starting afire under a bridge that was carrying a network fiber cable.

There any sites out there that monitor things like this? It could be more than just SL is affected.

Well, they've either got a server farm in Texas... or they have one here in my hometown in Oregon... if the second, I need to find it so I can wake them hampsers up for us all...

Whats really a bummer is I'm in Texas, just 5 minutes from Dallas. Hubby's online with his freebie account and me, with my paid account, can't log in.

Can we hope that Santa will bring a late christmas present of new servers to LL to handle the 20k overload issues? Seems to be the magic number as of late...
