There are so many clubs out there and they seem to be sex themed in some way. Dancers (strippers), escorts (prostitutes), naked pictures of girls on the wall. How about a nice club that doesn't have that? I have been to The Shelter, but it would be nice to have more than one, you know? Sometimes a girl wants to dance just to dance.

Or maybe I'm looking for dance in all the wrong places?

Sanctuary Rocks is a good place. Fairly popular though...lots of lag. You can find it listed under the popular places tab.

Great Place to Dance

Great People, Great Place, and the BEST Classic Rock, Jazz, & Country Music in Second Life are at Le vie en Rose and the T1 Radio Warehouse. Both on the Rue d'alliez sim.
Different theme evernight. Oh did I mention GREAT DJ's too.

Mature club but no nudity or weapons allowed. It really is a classy place and the friendliest people in second life.

Club Republik is my first choice.

Lots of clubs aren't about the sex....

When you're looking up the 'nightlife' upcoming events, look for the ones that mention the DJ and kind of music... those are usually ones where music, dancing, and conversation are the focus.

Decent place, but the music is pretty hardcore and the lag is horrific. Make sure you change before you go, you'll never rez.

Mata Hari is a good dance club with nightly events hosted from 8pm - 10pm SLT though some of the VIPs and Dancers have a tradition of a little nakey time after 10, but that's "after hours" fun if and when it does happen. During event times though, it's whatever the night's theme is if there is one (no theme for friday night battle of the bands).

I totally love the Blarney Stone in Dublin sim. It's not a PG sim, but it's basically a PG club. Elbow Room is good too when you just wanna hang out with nice people. I'd flog my own place, but we haven't kept it PG, LOL.

The Blarney Stone and Fibber McGee's in Dublin are fantastic.

Depends on your taste in music, but if you like the island kind of thing, search events for Max's Landfall.

Three Lions in Bourton Village gives good music and dancing. Friendly atmosphere.
Red Velvet is a good ballroom dancing venue.

While they do have dancers, Heavens Hell (without an apostrophe) is a great place to hang out. Good DJ's with a good mix of music, good hosts, fabulous owners. Events happen spontaneously so join the group for notifications.

if you are looking for a bit laid back, with the pub feel then check out my place called Back Seat Norm.

I created it for those folks who want a place to chill, without all the escorts and strippers trying to take your money. (I mean really... sex in SL strikes me funny LOL)

There are no flashing dance floors or flicking lights to drive one insane.

Quiet place over all, my goal was not to create the #1 club, but more to create a place I can go DJ at when I feel like it, and just relax at when I want to (and also where others can relax kick back and enjoy the tunes)

the music is rock so if you like rock, without all the hype of the usual clubs in SL, then BSN is the place for you.

(I would create a slurl but do not know how, so just go to places and search Back Seat Norm)

DeathAlley at DeathdealerZ mall is a great Goth/Metal club. No escorts, just a lot of good music and good fun!

Club LOL has great themed dance nights, and the beach in Bali Hai hosts lots of live music shows from jazz to acoustic to piano performances. Join the Bali Hai group to receive invites to these events.
