I will bet that Ron's

CPU: Intel Pentium III/Pentium III Xeon (0.25 micron process) with external L2 cache (2533 MHz)

is misidentified.

It´s a
"Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Extreme CPU Q9300 @ 2.53GHz, 2534 MHz, 4 core(s), 4 logical processor(s)".

According to ´system information´.

Emerald Viewer 1.23.5 (1101)

Built with MSVC version 1400

CPU: AMD (Unknown model) (2800 MHz)
Memory: 8192 MB
OS Version: Professional (Build 7600)
Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Graphics Card: GeForce GT 220/PCI/SSE2
Windows Graphics Driver Version: 8.15.0011.8627
OpenGL Version: 3.0.0

Dell Inspiron 546 desktop running MS Windows 7 Professional 64bit, 1TB SATA HDD

NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 with 1Gb memory
(Graphics card not recognised as supported on install, but works fine nonetheless)

CPU is an AMD Phenom II X4 925 2.8Ghz

Domestic 8Mbit/s ADSL broadband (wired to router modem via CAT5 ethernet and Homeplug technology). Actual download speeds sometimes as low as 2Mbit/s, upload speed as low as 0.5Mbit/s - never had much more than 5.5Mbit/s download (doesn't appear to make a huge difference here to SL).

Very good, fluid FPS on mid/high graphics settings, often see it in the range of 35-95 FPS on 500 Bandwidth with a Draw Distance set to 112m. Can go to Ultra in Graphics fine and can handle 1024m Draw Distance when needed.

I see it as a Mac Plus with a Hyperdrive or Easydrive or Jasmine 40, and probably a Hayes 2400.

I've switched to Linux and you know what? I'm happy. I have all the options to max, only trouble is when i turn vertex on. No diamonds in the clouds, I can launch any number of clients, also I get more memory available because i run a 32 bit Windows XP and a 64 bits Linux.

Oh i forgot about those. When those came out, i either had a Mac II or a Mac II FX, i am not sure entirely, or maybe it was when i had my Mac II Ci and CX. So many Macs!

I still have a Mac Portable :)

The only Macs i did not get were the Classic & Classic Plus and the SE Family. But i had a 128k, 512k, 512kE, Mac Plus, Mac II, Mac IIFX, Mac II Ci, Mac II CX, Mac Portable, PPC 6100, PPC6100 60/AV, PPC 8100/80, PPC 8100/100AV, and then i skipped all the other PPC series and eventually got a G3/266 laptop, and that was my last Mac.

I am now looking to get a Mac Pro dual quad  :D

Mac Nerds Rock

Also, if its a Mac Classic or SE, then the modem is most likely a US Robotics 2400, Hayes lost their popularity when the USRs/Couriers came out.

I however had a Telebit Trailblazer 19.2k :p

Actually, I think we'll have a better chance of winning the lottery than figuring out the information from the Lindens.

Curious about the Emerald Viewer and all the features?
