Furnation sandbox off limits?

A few weeks ago a newbie shouted to me "I'm going to keep making the annoying effects & noises till you give me $50L to go away"
My reply was shouted "I'm insulted at being extorted for 18cents US, please at least have the decency to be brandishing a freebie gun when you say that again so I can say you drew first as you depart the sim"

Okay lets lay this to rest. FurNation as a whole is not going to be totally banning No Payment Info on File. That's not fair to those that do not have access to obtain Payment information due to being overseas or just no checking account or Credit card. When we Do what we call a 'Lockdown' it is because of griefer attacks trhat we feel are goign to keep coming and crash all of the sims. In an effort to have the most furs enjoy the areas as we can we lock the majority of the sims to deny entry to those with payment info not on file until a time where we feel it's safe to 'unlock' the sims. Now to keep the griefers for figuring out when and what sims are locked (because not all of them will get locked) we do not announce which sims will remain unlocked during the lockdown. Sometimes it's Mythica so furs without PIOF (Payment Info On File) can still hang out with friends in The Ark. rarely however is it a sandbox where it is relatively simple for a griefer to crash. Sims that have the potential of being unlocked at those times are Prime (most places no build) Alpha (Most places only a 1 minute Auto Return and the Art Gallery to occupy a little time) As said before ... Mythica, Kami, Phoenix, Dragon, and the two Drakiel sims which are normally far enough away from the main targets that they are forgotten about or not bothered with. Admin is supposed to announce to the community group when a lockdown happens. And so as not to basicly tell the griefer groups that we are unlocking, region shouts should be performed by admins in the sims so that community members can IM to others when we are unlocking. It usually lasts for one hour or an hour and a half. Admin is then standing by in case the big groups come back in. If they don't ... we go about as normal. These lockdowns have been reccomended to us by Linden Labs Employees as well as other Anti-Griefer groups since the normal 'ban the griefer' defenses have all but ... as the not so beloved patriotic Nigras would say ... Epicly Failed. We sincerely apologize for any troubles this causes anyone.

Thanks for clearing things up corsi. So it's not a permanent lockdown then. I do suggest using a script to eject people under 30 days old as a alternative though. Most griefers are new accounts recently created because all of their older accounts are already banned. I sent you a IM in SL with the same message in case you don't see one or the other. I feel this is a good solution and i as a furry could easily wait 1 month after account creation before i can access a sim. It's better then being permanently locked out because you live in a country that makes it hard to pay for your account.
