All that effort for only 200l? The explaination shows the complex and offen misleading concept this is a easy way to make money. Its yu people electtic bill, and wear and tear on your systems ( yea people spend 3000.00 or more on a computer just to try to get such little money?) Then again these people have justify spend that much for a computer to begain with.

I imagine in Japan the expense could be a factor, but here running a computr all night does not have a noticeable effect on my electric bill. As for those Offers to Complete deals, avaoid them. I tried one once, Not in SL, for the "Free Laptop". Complete 3 offers. the requirements of one of the offers was Complete 3 more offers, and so on. Not worth the effort

Omg this issue again? Oh please then in effect you don`t pay your own bills..........leaving you computer on does increase the rate/cost you use. is it worth what the 1000l made sitting a money making device? i don`t think so. Then again if one is not paying your own bills or just don`t care how much you spend then well fools and their monies part quick.

But - it never takes into consideration - some of us leave our PC's on all the time anyway. So it doesn't actually matter...

Usagi is right. Here in Manitoba, Canada where I reside, electricity is quite cheap granted we're blessed with many large lakes and hydroelectric dams extracting energy from them. That being said, my computer has a 300 watt power supply... Let's see -- light bulbs are 60 to 100 watts and my computer is 300... Yes, I know what happens to my electric bill when I've accidently left lights on overnight and obviously having a computer on all day doing surveys would do the same thing.

The only "free" money in SL is to make a clothing line, scripting business, etc... And even that is only free *once* you have put in tens (if not hundreds) of hours setting everything up. If you want a "get rich quick" scheme, my advice would be to pick a penny stock. Best of luck -- you'll need it!

So then you same you don`t pay your own electric bill? I heard that bla bla about the computer being left on ANYWAYS.......Still your comsuming more more with the activity of the graphic card(s) and it your system is doing other works you must have a even more powerful Power supply 700watts and up ( more like 1000watts)

Hun i take in all accounts............But the basic is if one pays their own electric bill......... You can keep adding what if`s but the bottom line is there. There is no such thing as FREE MONIES...

I was agreeing with you :p I meant that if someone chose to leave their computer on all day, it could be left in hibernation mode or sleep mode consuming far less power. But, of course you can't do surveys with your monitor off and energy cut to your drives hence the waste surveys are.

The only useful purpose for them I would imagine would be for unverified members who for some reason or another cannot be verified hence having no way of obtaining lindens otherwise. Even then, it's a bad choice but at least more sensible...

Some times i wonder if its lindens themselves posting that cost of running computers and have AFK cost no more. AFter hearing this on this forum for way over a year.

Why do you assume we don't pay our own electric bill? I do, along with my mortgage, water, car payments, insurance-both house and car, property taxes, cable tv and internet, heating oil, etc. Not to mention sales tax, gas tax, monthly highway toll pass AKA EZPass.

So do you sit in money paying devices? Or use use thise hippy boxs? Is my point here? You either buy money or build to earn monies on sl? If one does pay what i suppose you do, then you have enough money in your life to afford play here. And not to rely on this these these devices to your abilty to play on sl ( no such thig as free money on sl ) as i wrote my last remark?

Not assuming if one have money in rl, they don`t need to worry about putting money the game. Nor take monies out. ITS COST MONIES to play on sl owning a full account, buying things etc....... Thats money point(s) here.

Well seeing we can't expect everyone in SL to script, build or sell their AV's body then there have to be other options, the average RL delivery driver or waitress that comes to SL might very well want to buy your products, but not have any way other than credit card to do so which I supopose is what is keeping SL afloat since so few pay monthly to play.

Be wary of anything that wants you to take a survey, unless you like 30 extra spam messages in your email every day.
