now downloading the new viewer ... starting Second Life ... checking Preferences first to make sure avatar vertexes aren't pre-set again (forget which update that happened) ...

frown, tap, tap ... now tapping with just one finger ...

sees "Despite our best efforts ..." and raises previously tapping finger in salute.

Well geeze ya know a paying customer would expect the asset server to have been fixed by now.... Still seems I cant delete, take, upload anything, which spells for me "C A N T F I N I S H M Y W O R K"

Submitted a bug report, not like that does any good.

Oh well, I'll go play another game and maybe I'll just forget about SL for a while.

Im shocked that they did a client release without fixing the asset servers.... thats just sad

got in. music on my parcel is gone, tho the URL is correct. missing 10 items so far on my land ... one of them vitally important, several simply mega important ... cannot create any prims ...

afraid to test-rez any no copy prims, decided to build a prim, make it no copy, take it into inventory, then rez it ... CANNOT BUILD. no error message, just can't do it ...

i'm alone in an empty sim surrounded by nearly-empty sims yet so lagged i can't move my camera and can barely move myself ...

went to my profile to use my picks to teleport up to my club from my store ... NO PROFILE.

clearing cache and re-logging will fix it!! yes, that's what i'll do!

how is a girl supposed to make it to her interview at Playboy SL?

or give out inventory due to sales not made by my vendors since last night? (as notified in all the IMs of people i cannot load profiles of, in order to drag n drop the items sold.)

or make fixes on her club for the Hump Day crowd? (well, they probably can't get in, or move, either.)

at least when logging into "Last Location" and frozen for 5 minutes or so, i get a truly wonderful view of my own bum.

here's a question.... a silly one I'm sure but hey.... what the heck right?

So land owners have to pay teir each month. Most land owners have malls, rentals, clubs and so on the rely on the grid being OPEN and in working order so they can make lindens to pay their teir. So here's my question: Does Linden Labs pro-rate people for the lost business due to down time and flat out non-working versions of SL?

i am still only getting as far as "logging in, may appear frozen, blah, blah" no option to install anything, just that stupid "Despite our best efforts..." crap again....I cleared cache, un installed and reinstalled. defraged, did a clean up..you name it... wonder how many days it will be this t ime before i can get in. There are over 33k in now..*sighs*

Probably not and they don't have to, TOS and all that but bringing the grid up in this condition was a bad move. I'd rather it was down to be honest until this issue is rectified.
