Naw I'm not in, and its all updated. This happens every update. There are only 17k or so people online (last I saw) so that means another 17k or so may still be trying to log in at the same time. Imagine the line like trying to go down an escilator...we cant all get on at once, darn it all!
You will get in sooner or later, just gotta let the traffic get out of the way first me thinks! _____________________

Well I can't get in w/ either browser so at least I know *that* ain't the problem...probably just everybody trying to "squeeze through the door" at the same time. half of us should just wait for an hour, heh _____________________

Well i suppose the login issues come from the fact that 40K+ people are trying to log in at the same time. I came in once.. in some sort of weird not to described form. Lets just say i had boobs. Anyway.. give it a rest.. take it easy.. once everyone stops hammering the login.. it will all be good.

Ok, the login screen shows the grid is active. The progress bar shows up when I log in, as does an hourglass mouse pointer. Then, about two minutes into the progress bar's snail-crawl, I keep getting the same message:
"Unable to connect to Second Life. Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong. Please check www.secondlife.com/status to see if there is a known problem with the service." Of course, I go to the status page, and it says the grid is online. This is my 3d attempt since I began trying to log on at 2:30. |

I got a lot of fatal errors during the install, and it sits at the be patient screen so I dloaded a fresh copy and installed that, again many fatal errors in the install. :/ :

I cold booted my machine and did another install, this time it did not have any errors and I was able to get on ok. |
